A few mins after i posted the above we had a heavy 15 min shower. Stopped now at 4.28. Sky looks brighter, and there looks like theres a bit of sun trying to break through. I'm 3-4 miles from track, as the crow flies.

He shouldn't have to tell the start marshal not to that. He should know not to.. It's dangerous !! He didn't do it earlier, after all. But Oxford were on a 5-1 then. And if the ref did tell him to do it if it happened again (Heat 15), then the ref looks incompetent, and should be accountable. Both should know better. I wonder what would of happened if the marshal let it the tape slip, and it caught a rider on the was past. If i was Oxford I would let it go.

Oxford on a 5-1 race stopped. Poole on a 5-1 and the marshal nearly drops a boll11ok, trying to dangerously keep the race going. Someone needs to be fined..
