Lions On Sky

Recommended Posts

Come on Nigel, Kelvin and Chris, do the good folk of Leicester a favour tonight, and tell it like it is.

Is that the good folk of Leicester who turn up and support their team with crowds the envy of plenty you mean? ;)

Bet 365 CAN`T show a meeting that`s on SKY.

Didn't know that but it's understandable. Coronation Street it is then, presuming the bloody football is over now.

I agree with most of your post but think you are being unfair regarding track prep there is not much wrong with the prep .Glyn Taylor is a very good trackman with years of doing the job but if the shape and then alterations were done without any input from him he can only produce a safe surface to race on . I think he has done so since the track opened and as the job is an art I think he has took a lot of flak for things which he has no control over.

Blackbird may score all of Eastbourne's points.

FTM think you need to get your facts right about Glyn Taylor being a very good trackman before you post! He was asked to leave 4 or 5 tracks because of bad track prep over the years............

To be fair, at Leicester he's been onto a loser regardless of the track surface he has prepared.

Don't suppose you could refresh our minds with which those 4 or 5 tracks actually were.....very interesting statement that has me wondering who exactly needs to get their "facts" right here tsc1

No worries if you can't remember off the top of your head - you could always ask him later :-D :-D

3 heats into the meeting and its time to turn over. the only way to pass is if a rider hits a rut on turn 3

shouldn't be too many arguements if the ref has to award a heat

Yeah the track ain't great but at least there is a crowd and they make noise so they deserve credit for that.

Nasty crash but that kid is a tough one. The other kid did well to lay down his bike.

Nice to see youngsters involved in the 'top' league and hope they all learn something from it and good luck Leicester.

Good god can't they let the pairs final go, according to Mr Pearson Max left him nowhere to go , not what Nick Morris said methinks.

Let it drop

Maybe the track has been doctored, more dirt perhaps, in an attempt to produce better racing ?

The riders are finding it hard to control the bikes.

Not the best track I have seen, causing riders to lock up a lot. Good to see a good crowd

What a great advert for speedway when the commentators Tatum & Louis + riders etc say you can't pass. We're seeing it with our own eyes. Dreadful track.
