Try marshalling a couple of times a month, november through to march in Scunnys amatuer meets, sometimes stood on the centre green for upto 6or 7 hours, then you will know what cold is

We both missed the best race of the meeting

you fell for that as well..........haven't you noticed when you miss a meeting how often they say you missed a good one!!

There hasn't been a Christmas meeting for a number of years. Presumably due to a lack of interest.

That's because they lost a lot of punters...............frostbite.....terrible end

Very quiet here............................................

No mention/further discussions on the 2016 declared team for about two weeks now?

Everyone must be either very happy :D or not impressed  ?

OK..............

It's a fantastic team and I'll be along every week to cheer them on.

Maybe.

(At least it's nearer than the Showground.)

I think it will be after Christmas and into the new year before most Ipswich fans will start talking about the new season.

You get an initial flood of opinions about any new team after its been announced but then it goes quiet till on here till we're on the Speedway countdown clock.

Until eveyone else has a full 1-7 announced it is difficult to judge.

Of those complete Id say we stack up well.

Built in a similar mold to Glasgow but perhaps with more questions marks against potential improvement on our part.

I prefer our set up to Rye and Berwick.

Still a couple of issues to resolve. One being confirmation of the new (old) team manager, and the other is the main team sponsor issue.

Sackers' three year deal has expired.

On the team front I'm also pretty happy with it. The purchase of Castagna is an interesting one for me I wonder if it was Chris Louis that pursued his contract, or whether it was a case of if you want to use our asset you'll have to buy him from Sheffield's end.
