Warsaw Gp 13th May 2017

Recommended Posts

Have rooms available direct with Accor http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/united-kingdom/index.shtml

When I tried, was about 20eur more expensive than what I currently have as a replacement. Thanks anyway! Will keep trying occasionally. Have three different hotels booked ATM.

EDIT: and now I have 4 since finally managed to secure Mercure central.

Attending this year to hopefully put to bed the bad memories from 2 years ago...

Anyone know if they're running a meeting in the stadium on the sunday again or not as I guess could be a regular league fixture Sunday?

Not is correct- doesn`t look as if there is any Polish league action on the following day scheduled.- maybe an open meeting somewhere.

For the third time in a row, LOTTO, Polish National Lottery, will be sponsoring Warsaw's round of the 2017 Speedway Grand Prix – reports sportowefakty.pl

Lotto, as the main sponsor is putting on a table around £300 000 ( at the exchange rate of £1 = 5PLN)

whilst the total cost of the Warsaw GP is being estimated at around £1 200 000. BSI takes around £400 000, plus additional £100 000 as a share income from tickets sale. Cost of laying racing strip cost another £200 000, whilst hiring the National Stadium for the SGP cost similar amount. Remaining amount is to cover expenditure connected with food and lodging for the track constructing people.

Andrzej Witkowski, chaiman of the PZM( Polish Motor Union) disclosed that so far nerly 40 000 ticked have been sold

Any ideas on the wildcard for this GP yet? Guess it won't be announced for a couple of weeks but anyone expected to be given the opportunity?

Are you sure it's not a 2016 page ?

It's 2017. Says ticketbis.com on the pic. Would be very surprised if such meeting would take place now. Still, need to know for sure.

Definitely NO meeting in Warsaw other than the GP - that website is one of those buy and sell agencies so they won`t have a clue !!!
