Is there any word regarding what was discussed / decided at the AGM. With the involvement of a new south west league and withdrawal of some teams I suspect there are many changes?

So, two weeks after the meeting and nothing. Why is the potential development of young speedway riders such a secret?

Because nobody is interested in running the MDL , why would they be ? the promoters treat it as if it's something they trod in ,, and the bspa/scb look on it in much the same light , sadly the people who run speedway ,Promoters ,BSPA , SCB are a little bit thick , they look at the current National league and think to themselves that the riders in it all fell off the christmas tree . wont be long before these deadheads are complaining that there's no kids coming though and they are having to build teams with journeyman foreigners and pay them to fly in and out , stupid is as stupid does is the saying ,and what is being allowed to happen to the MDL is a classic example of stupidity in the highest.

There are some truely remarkable individuals who run MDL teams and put in countless hours & stresses for no reward other than the pure love of the sport. Sadly as often pointed out they along with riders are all too often treated poorly by promoters (and many supporters) who treat them as second rate & an inconvenience rather than a benefit for the sport & its future.

Then there are the governing bodies who set out a remarkable amount of hoops to be jumped through & financial requirements just to bring an amateur team to the tapes. For all of its flaws this is still the most honest & enjoyable league currently racing in this country.

So, Mimms, spill the beans on the NJL or is that secret as Well?

Berwick (Gary Flint); Halifax (Wayne Carter/Geoff Hayes); Glasgow (Colin Mackie); Newcastle (Dave Rowland); Northside (Paul, Bickley); Redcar (Jade Mudgway) and Workington (Malcolm McCoy)

Is there any more news on this? Season is getting close now and must be hard to prepare/motivate riders if nobody has a clue what is going on.

Arguement over the format according to speedway star.

SCB trying to impose NJL format on MDL, 2x500cc & 2x125cc riders, whilst MDL want to keep old format
