  1. Past hour
  2. Jonas Jeppesen would surely have been signed now on his GSA, So I assume he's got a verbal agreement in place with the new owners. Anyone got an update as to what Tai Woffinden has said in the Speedway Star? If the Wolves Trio rumour is correct then we can fill in 2 of the blanks with Woffinden and Becker. 1. 2. J. Jenkins 4.49 (2.5% Discount) 3. 4. 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jeppesen 4.34 7. J. Edwards (RS) LEFT (21.12) or 1. 2. J. Jeppesen 4.34 3. 4. 5. T. Brennan 7.05 6. J. Jenkins 3.46 (25% Discount) 7. J. Edwards (RS) LEFT (22.15)
  3. It is depressing to see only six teams now at this level in the league. Like said in previous posts this league is to nurture the next generation and talent. There are not enough riders in the UK and there are many reasons for this but with the NDL and the Midlands/North leagues that have ran in the past it is giving youngsters that opportunity to get into the sport Like other posts have said I cannot see why all teams cannot at least run a second half type meeting after the main meeting if they do not want to run a full time team at this level as again it will give youngsters a chance and most teams would be able to run a short meet after the main if they cut out all the time wasted
  4. Agree, I think he's a certainty for Ipswich now because I don't believe that promoters wouldn't sign him on that GSA when he's taken the CHAMP by storm and had some impressive scores Away from Home in the PREM riding @ No.3 in 2025 like 6+1 at Belle Vue and 7+1 at Sheffield.
  5. jeppesen will be a steal for whoever he signs for
  6. you better hope you get new investment with that team
  7. Interesting that Jonas Jeppesen (4.34) is still available. Could the tail end be Jeppesen, Jenkins and Edwards?
  8. Today
  9. If he is half the rider he was on a low average( second string) he has got to be worth a punt
  10. Always very sad when speedway loses one, a wee bit before my time but a very under-rated rider. RIP Bob....
  11. Only just seen this, always sad when speedway loses someone, or anyone suffering a loss myself having just had to deal with a close family member pass away. George rode in the very first Hull Vikings match at The Boulevard for Sunderland Stars in 1971 I didn't go, parents not interested & apprently too young to go alone. Is it true George achieved his 'Gentleman George' nickname as he was well-mannered & spoken & never deliberately did any untoward on the track ?. RIP George.....

  13. Yesterday
  14. Nope, all signed, sealed & delivered. No drama, just waiting for March 👍
  15. Its been very quiet on here does redcar not have anything to talk about.
  16. Imagine if the sport was motox not speedway, how much do you get paid for that ?I more than most in this sport know all about costs, time and everything else that goes with riding in the national league, I’ve ridden more meetings in the national/anatuer/conference league than any other rider ever, over the years I posted on here and numerous platforms how the league should be run, what riders should be in it, the maximum they should earn, how riders can actually make money at this level or at least break even and just about every other aspect of the 3rd tier but it always fell on deaf ears
  17. Yes: I used to buy tyres, and other items, for a rider starting out in speedway, and drive him about using my own diesel. They have got to serve their appenticeship first.
  18. Buxton need a good team manager 😉
  19. Decent side with continuity in the key spots - reserves could be a weakness but overall i reckon they will be fine top 5 spot awaits 😉
  20. That’s the team we all wanted. Fair play to Bates for sorting it we all owe him a big thanks another year of speedway at Sheffield is good news and that team is as good as any. Jack, Chris and Picko will be a great trio of headleaders again im hoping Chris can lift his form back to 2024 standard. Leon and Anders in the main body of the team will have to find another gear again mainly away from home. Jye and Killeen for me are good signings at this level and will stay at reserve. Killeen hopefully with the right people around him will find his feet in the premiership
  21. No Surprises then welcome back again Picko.
  22. That'll give us a clearer picture for sure.
  23. https://www.speedwaystar.net Gonna give this a read tonight, see if anything is mentioned about a possible UK return. I can’t see it personally but we’ll see. Also an interview with the legend that is Siggy in this weeks edition! My childhood idol 😁
  24. Assuming the Wolves Trio rumour is correct then it'll be a spearhead of Woffinden, Brennan and Becker. Throw in Jenkins and Edwards too.
  25. Pete Adams seems to be who they’re hinting at. Olly Allen and Rosco could also be in the mix potentially so there seems to be a few options. Maybe it’ll be none of them!
