  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah that was the best I found, but even then, the team names aren't always completely accurate. I was hoping this data would be nicely archived somewhere, but knowing British Speedway it probably isn't
  3. His best mates that have kept him in the team all these years have now buggered off, and they STILL can’t get rid of him at Foxhall 😂
  4. Speedway Researcher will give you team names and a very simple graphic that sort of resembles the logo.
  5. It is a good looking and competitive Championship, the usual suspects Poole, Oxford and Glasgow will no doubt be up there, all 3 look strong. Edinburgh have a strong looking reserve pair (believe Loftus will be one of the best signings on his average) Plymouth strong top 2, plus Klima at reserve should clean up (if he turns up every week) Redcar don’t look as strong as last year, can’t see that side being a play off team. But they do have a very strong reserve pair. Likewise with Berwick they’ll be competitive especially at home, but will probably fall short of the play offs. Scunthorpe do look weak, but I’d imagine once they make changes once Pickering’s average drops they might become more competitive away. Workington have the best looking side since we’ve relaunched. Should be miles more competitive away from home in 2026, and I’m confident we can take that 4th spot again. 1st Glasgow 2nd Oxford 3rd Poole Plymouth/Edinburgh/Workington fighting for 4th. 7th Berwick 8th Redcar 9th Scunthorpe
  6. I am collecting data for a project I am working on and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find old logos and team names. I know there is some data out there, but it is not all in one place so was wondering if there was a place that had already collated this kind of thing.
  7. Today
  8. I'm sure Connor Mountain is thinking like that, he got dropped for Zischke the previous year when averaging above 4.00!
  9. I think the problem is as other have mentioned the 20-30 double uppers in the prem will make more money in the current system than say one big league at championship pay rates so they won't be keen. Again another example of the sport boxing itself in so the riders dictate for the UK unattractive race nights for some clubs and do rider shortage they can call more shots even bang average riders.
  10. Spot on Cookie in fact if they had any sense they should probably kick off on the early May bank hol Monday but as ever with Speedway you run the risk even with a possible only 8 fixtures of running until back end of Sept.
  11. Brennan King Rew Edwards Jenkins and a couple of newbies. Or the owners have deep pockets & Emil is coming back.
  12. The First Division licence moved to Eastville along with riders such as Crump and Gresham, but Newport continued in the National League. Similar to the Oxford/White City and Newcastle/Reading moves. For interest, the cost of the licence when Ipswich bought the one from the West Ham promotion prior to the 1972 season was £4,000 according to John Berry.
  13. So it’s a format where 4 teams are in the meeting but it’s not a four team tournament as we know it with 1 rider from each team in every race. It’s 2 riders from 1 team v 2 riders from another.
  14. Is it not logical to suggest the remaining 'top' riders will be in the lifeboats as the ship goes down. Thereby, forcing one league next year regardless? After all 16 league fixtures with arguably a dwindling fan base isn't conducive long term so more ' top ' riders will plan ahead.
  15. Could start the season in June and run the complete league programme before the end of August. Doesn’t matter if Ipswich open late only 8 home league fixtures & a couple of ko cup if you’re lucky
  16. Well done Just as well it's so close - enabled you to count on one hand without the need of your thumb
  17. Sportowefakty details about the league, translation here: Starting in the 2026 season, the U24 Ekstraliga will adopt a four-legged system. This means that all matches will feature one home team and three visiting teams. Each team will host three such matches. There will be a total of 12 rounds. There will be no semifinals or finals. Three points are awarded for a win in each of the four matches. Subsequent places receive two, one, and zero points, respectively. In the event of a tie in points, the final standings will be determined by the number of heat points, followed by first, second, third, and fourth places in all rounds. Teams will consist of four riders under 24 years of age and one optional reserve. There will be no limits on the number of foreign or domestic riders. However, there will still be a maximum average points limit of 1.4 (or a different conversion rate in the case of average points from lower-level competitions – editor's note). The competition will consist of 18 races. Two riders from each team will line up in each heat. Ultimately, two riders will complete five heats, while the remaining two will complete four. Regular reserves will be allowed at the touch of the heat, but tactical reserves, rider substitutions, or grid swaps will not be permitted. Each four-event heat can be completed after 12 heats. The U24 Ekstraliga season begins on May 5th. The first hosts will be Perłowa Przystań Stal Gorzów and AVO KS Toruń . In the Lubusz Voivodeship, Polcopper Agromix Unia Leszno , Falubaz Zielona Góra , and U24 Beckhoff Sparta Wrocław will also compete. In the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Grudziądzkie Mebelki GKM Grudziądz , Impakt Włókniarz Częstochowa , and Motor Lublin will appear .
  18. Do you think he'd record a video shouting "Speedway W@nkers" at us 🤔
  19. no it doesnt matter its only basically February and 5 weeks until the season starts.
  20. Excellent, it's a pity the draw had to be done 3 times before Scunny and Poole came out together - oops!
