Glad to hear that it's just a silly rumour regarding the 36.00 Limit. Imo everyone from this years side has earned the right to return next season, 2026 Should feature at least 6 of this years side imo with one enforced changed.

Rushen and Nagel who are both young riders probably made more passes this season alone than a rider like Richard Lawson has in his entire career. You either have ‘it’ or not IMO when it comes to that department. -
Agreed. He’s been great for British speedway, but in view of his recent massive injury and his age, he is unfortunately only going in one direction.
-
Hope so. Would be such a shame if another track closed down.

Unless they get special dispensation to delay until say Jan 1st, then expect an announcement next month at AGM.

Please post in speedway discussions section. -
Surely coming up through the ranks, young riders want and need to learn how to gate first. Overtaking etc etc comes with much more experience

As Neil Middleditch said when asked by Bsn, Matt looks for riders who have the potential to increase their average. You won’t see Tobias Thomson or Paul Starke next year. -

I am not a Poole fan but I am fed up of the jealousy on here. Poole look after riders well, but they do not pay /package close to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Plymouth. They offer more matches, a winning mentality and pay very quickly. Matt works on his team well in advance of others and he has no shortage of riders wanting to ride there, equally they have riders who know they can earn more per point elsewhere. -

Don't worry, I'll cover for you. Friday works for me, I work on Wednesday nights so this will be my first meeting of the season. I'm up for a bit of glory hunting 😁 The wife is away for the weekend so Speedway on Friday, Hamworthy-Utd on Saturday & AFCB on Sunday... Sorted 👍 -

I believe Neil Leeks of Mildenhall also had Tassels. I believe the whole team did at that time. Bob Coles, Robert Henry, Melvyn Taylor etc -

If it is Poole he will be on a winner as he is a fast gater and certainly not scared to mix it -
2 leagues for 2026 with the Premeirship Wednesday & Thursdays, the main reasons cut down on traveling & cost. Championship Friday & Saturdays, the main reason allow riders to work alongside their speedway commitments. Tighter rules to stop riders missing their UK fixtures and less double up/down. Any third division on Sundays. Fact is real changes are required.

When was the last time he completed four laps and finished last? This can be costly if another rider then pulls up when the score is tight. As I have said before, I’m surprised Dickson tolerates this. Out of respect for the paying public, riders should be completing four laps unless there is a genuine mechanical failure.

Looks a good prospect.Lets see what happens when he is up against 3 seasoned campaigners in a race. Will Cairns is very stylish and has great bike control skills but admits he still has a lot too learn when he doesn’t gate. Wish them both well though and that they have a good career.World Class at 16 there have been few.Think we are getting bit carried away with the young Brits though when you look at the big picture. -

Local Essex boy would have been great at Arena but we cannot beat Google at the moment! Poole will offer him the most dosh so he will go there.
