'Postponed'! New date to be announced!

Much of the TV critique of the first episode in National media was negative about the contestants - although a couple mentioned Mr Bowen as a 'strong outsider'!?
-
More details about Poole's new Dane - Tobias Thomsen - and his more recent racing in this week's double page spread in the Speedway Star.
-
Olly Holt has been very supportive throughout with little snippets of support for SOS appearing quite regularly!
Today's almost full page in the D.Mail is a great read!

I think Plymouth could be the surprise package as their 1-7 are generally good at home so can be some bonus points won, both Thompsons will improve if they stay injury free, Joe i believe scored 7ish guesting at no.3 last season so being at 7 in a weaker league will see him score well
Ok Covatti and Barker aren't Harris/Worrall but they are triers which will give them a good chance
With all the track changes/improvements being made at Plymouth, they will improve the away team's chances as much as the home team - especially in the early weeks of the season.

It may not be that and just a coincidence, but know it's been annoying a lot of posters including me.
I tried that but still not working for me.

Even if Poole went for Rowe & Newman instead of Brennan & Thomsen, Zach could still have ridden at number 4 anyway.
With Rowe and Newman in the 1-5, Zach would have been 3rd heat leader. Yes he could have still ridden at 4 but he would have been as heat leader not 2nd string.

Despite the general negativity on here, thank goodness for the loads of positive comments on particularly Facebook!
Haven't checked the other social platforms.
It looks a decent solid team and on a 'Track by Terry' they should do well.

Maybe that's why Poole wanted him to start in his 2nd string position from 2023.

At the conclusion of the final round, Poole's Ben Cook was awarded the 'Most Improved Rider of the Year' trophy, based on his results from both his Overseas and his domestic meetings.

Middlo and Havvy continuing as joint team Managers. Havvy will have one more meeting under his responsibility (Worky), whilst Middlo will have one less (Brum)!

Notwithstanding the lower points limit, clubs still have the same stadium and meeting costs, most of which have increased in price, so its understandable that admission prices will increase!
Fans will make their own decisions about 'what represents a quality product'!
If its felt that the increase is too much then that will be reflected in attendance levels - a factor that I'm sure most Promoters take into account when preparing their revenue/expenditure budgets for each season.
-
Well done to Ben Cook who was voted 'The most improved rider of the year' award at the Aussie Championship Series!!
Awarded by a panel of expert judges - both domestic and overseas

The Star is now delivered in a white paper envelope.
Mine is delivered by Royal Mail to my block of apartments, and almost always arrives on Thursdays except in BH weeks when it arrives on a Friday.
Can't complain at all.

Such a shame that some don't seem to know the difference or choose to attack the poster rather than the post!

This will include some exhibition Young Lions Youth races as advised by Neil Vatcher.

I'm not the author of the whisper! It was shared to me just after the Kyle Newman postponement was announced, so not sure if its accurate nor what the ramifications might be?!!!
NB. Richard Lawson's Testimonial is scheduled for Sunday 1st September!!
