Very very impressed with a few riders today. Cookie, Vuolas, batch, and Tate were phenomenal.

I really had my doubts about cook after the rumours and his first couple of rides this season were iffy. He's turned it around and looks unbeatable. Looks like a guy enjoying himself.

As for our two youngsters, Vuolas and Tate are special. Ride with no fear. Vuolas seems the mature of them both whereas Tate just looks like he's going out and having a little bit of fun.

Vissing had an off day and I hope that's all it was because we need him to be scoring.

Celina and Sam were poor again. Sam managed to hit his average and Celina was well off the pace.

Celina IS on the pace once her gating improves she will do ok ,she trys and thats the main thing for me.Great meeting today fantastic racing and a home win couldnt ask for more .

The Bears using rider replacement for Jonas Knudsen who has Polish commitments . Both Charles Wright and Connor Bailey can take a ride, could strengthen them up . We will need to be on it from the off .

Commitment or choice to be in poland, about time a number 8 should be used to take all rides.

I’m with @iainb on this one.

I’ve just watched the meeting back on BSN and Cook’s demeanour when speaking to Roynon during the pre-meeting captain interviews was shocking.

Considering the last time Cook was at Redcar was the CLRC where he looked like he was trying to impersonate a speedway rider, it’s no wonder someone may anticipate the worst.

Again, delighted to see Cook back to winning races and meetings, but let’s  not deny what was clear for everyone to see.

And everyone fell for it,lets be honest roynon wont be the toughest interview anyone does craig done his talking on the track lol

The promotions agreed to delay the start. Presumably the Edinburgh promotion didn't want cheap points, and I'm sure we'd agree the same if it were the other way round. I presume the referee (or Edinburgh) said it had to be no more than 15 minutes, which is fair. Glasgow were prepared to put Ace in heat one if it came to it, but I think it was a sensible accomodation.

All meetings have to start no later than 15 minutes after advertised start time, did anyone check if harris had his license with him before he went out??,was it a scottish ref tonight??

Fair point, probably a poor comparison to F1 but in F1 for example when a race is called as "wet" the tyres are mandated, maybe speedway needs something similar, a setup to be mandated that allows bikes to cope better with wet tracks. Wasn't today's meeting not postponed due to a waterlogged track though, it was postponed yesterday due to a weather forecast of 70mph winds was it not? A forecast that when we all checked it out this morning could see had changed markedly, like it often does. Turns out the winds in Workington between 2pm and 4pm were only between 31 and 36 mph. What is the ruling as regards calling a match off due to winds? What is deemed "safe"?

How many times has your track called meetings off due to a forecast? It was blowing strong winds today get over it
