Czech Grand Prix - Prague
fiveone replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well Done TONY Does Nicki know you have to turn left on the first bend? That guy is going to kill someone or himself one day. What's the matter with him? -
Oh yes. That reminds me... This "Grand Prix" thing... Tony Rickardsson SWE 25 20 25 25 = 95 Jason Crump AUS 18 25 16 4 = 63 Looks like Tony might take a holiday and miss the next GP, while he gets himself sorted to give his services to another British team ??? Another 4 points for Crump in the next "Grand Prix" round, will bring him up to 67. That would mean another holiday for Tony.

It all comes down to night itself. Trick 25 points Crump 4 points

What a fantastic day. Nice to meet so many of you lovely forum members. Was that a bad hand you had Steve, or was it a video recorder? Hope the wife is better now. As for the meeting... What can I say? The master does it again. Well done Tony! The last race was awesome. Really took me back to my former Exeter days, with another great rider performing the wall of death at the county ground, by Ivan Mauger. Most of you don't realise it but you're witnessing the best speedway rider in history. It's just sad that he's not riding in our EL. Full credit to Hampel. I must admit, Sting and I were both cheering him as much as Tony. As for the incidents during the meeting, that will always be speedway. Something to talk about and argue about. But at the end of the day, the ref never changes his decision!

Well done George, nice one mate Keep us posted as to the time you will be riding. Sting and I will be there cheering you on. -
Will you shave them first LT

I have a spare Cardiff GP ticket. It was £50, but going for £25. Block M2 (above the pits area), row 9. The big draw-back is, you'll be sitting with the Fiveone and Sting (Av ). If you're interested, just post after this, and myself or Sting will get back to you. It's a bargain!

Ivan Mauger as you know won the WC 6 times, and to a lot of people, he was boring and predictable. But these guys are in a class of their own. One day you'll look back on your speedway past and think "yes, Tony was the best".
