Scunthorpe are Unique in one of the only teams in the country that has the freedom of running any night of the week if they had to with them owning their own track and the track not been near no housing

Well done to both the British lads for qualifying

Never said it would did I?

So I will always think a no8 should be there!
It was actually heat 1 he got injured in taking the R/R ride for Basso meaning Poole had to go with 1 rider in the reserve heat

Would Gilkes have scored anymore then the R/R rides? he scored 6+1 from 5 rides the other week at Scunthorpe he had 1 decent ride where he beat Lambert and 1 where he beat Kemp other then that the only Scunthorpe rider he beat was Nathan Ablitt, Not sure he'd have got anywhere near Masters, Kerr, Nicholls etc.
Now the Averages have changed next week Scunthorpe's options do get a bit wider with Thomas Jorgensen and Leon Flint now able to ride at the home circuit for the Scorpions other then that there is only really Ben Cook that i would consider before using R/R. As everyone knows i'm not Godfrey's biggest fan never have been never will be but on this occasion (apart from not naming a Number 8) he is doing the right thing (bad luck aside) in my opinion.

It'd be even more entertaining if each team had to nominate a Member of their Management team or Track Staff to do the race

I might be wrong but didnt Dan only join on a 28 day contract originally so would be free to sign for someone else when that 28 days is up?

I think the reason R/R only got 5 points was because it was at 5 due to the short notice ( it happening the night before the meeting and riding order not allowed to change). R/R would score more at the 2, 3 or 4 Position. I'd personally go with
Douglas
R/R (Kemp vs Masters and Heeps Heat 1, Mountain vs Nicholls and Atkins Heat 6, Lambert vs Heeps and Atkins or Kinsley Heat 8, Allen vs Kerr and Jenkins Heat 10)
Kemp
Lambert
Allen
Ablitt
Mountain

Laguta doesn't look very injured while half a straight in front for Wroclaw in heat 1 this afternoon

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Rory Schlein, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.
KING’S LYNN: Artem Laguta, Thomas Jorgensen, Nicolai Klindt, Kye Thomson, Nick Morris (G), Simon Lambert, Anders Rowe.Chris Harris is on standby to replace Laguta if he doesn't make it from last week. So one would assume it'll be Harris at 1 save Buster a few pennies. Meanwhile for the Wolves Becker has had a crash in Poland today (Sunday) has gone to hospital with a suspected broken arm.

Slightly off topic. Ipswich Pairs hopes Next thursday at Leicester look like they've suffered a blow. Krosno's Polish meeting scheduled for Friday 23/6 has been postponed and rearranged for Thursday 29/6 so that will rule Doyle out the Pairs

Harrison has been called up. Foord isn't going to be fit. Max James now 1st reserve, William Richardson dons the number 18 jacket

72 hours before the meeting i believe to the opposition when the teams have to be declared but about 7.29pm and 59 seconds on Thursday evening to the paying public.

I still say re runs should start with handicap systems (if 1 lap had been completed) stop all this staying down on purpose bollocks.
For example heat 1 last night.
Sedgmen starts from tapes. Fricke 5 metres back. Laguta 10 metres back.

He basically confirmed what Leicester said on their website. His Dad was taken ill and they had to return home. He was meant to be riding at Iwade today but pulled out from that too. He apologised to Leicester as a whole and everyone at Iwade today.

harder rides against Birmingham? Is there such a thing?

No Pickering or Cook. R Worrall and Kerr in. Certainly looking like an Away win.

More to the Point why are people from Workington bothered about Manchester City or Manchester United? You should be supporting Barrow, Carlisle or even Workington Town up that way. #SupportLocal

I posted on the Updates about bringing in a Handicap format for re-run's. The guy that was leading starts at the tapes. Person in 2nd starts 5 metres back, guy in 3rd 10 metres back. I always find it very harsh especially when a team is on a 5-1 that someone stays down. Could work well in the GP's also for example in the last one when Jack Holder basically had it in the bag before race was stopped.

Only if they get picked for the final 5 which I'll be surprised if either of them actually will. It'll be Woffinden, Bewley, Lambert, Ellis and Brennan the 5 with Harris on Standby imo.
