  1. If Hans wasn`t so intent into getting into Scotties underpants. There would of been no need to give him the elbow. Joking aside Hans gave as good as he got. 50-50 decision IMHO
  2. Well Done Andreas! When are you comming back to ride in this country full time again? Would love to see you riding on a regular basis especially for Oxford
  3. Rubbish!! It was a 50-50 decision and a good hard race. What do you want to see? A race with no racing involved?
  4. Or was it the B.O that made Hans bail out?
  5. I personally feel it was a 50-50 decision. It was a hard race, both riders tried their very best to get the better on each rider. And because a rider fell someone had to be excluded for it. On this occassion it was Scott Nicholls, next time it might be the other way round. It is pointless in complaining because it is not going to change anything, especially after the event. I like both riders. And i really do like the new Scott Nicholls. He is showing more and more determination to win, as well as a positive attitude. And to be a winner you need that very recipy, exactly! Scott is showing the same in his racing attitude and ability as of Hans Andersen. And Hans is already on his way to becomming a winner in this sport. All i can really say is that they are so similar that they are having a personallity clash. However it makes the racing between the two of them extremely exciting. And here`s looking forward to Scotties first G.P win

    Scott Nicholls

I would like to say how pleased i was for Scott in firstly getting to the final of the G.P. Having that extra aggression in his riding to succeed in his aim, a more positive aproach and getting second place in a World Class line up in the Final was the iceing on top of the cake! Well Done Scott Nicholls! Keep working like that and soon you`ll be winning a G.P or two.

    Dive Bomber Harris

Who`s fault is it that Chris got his hand slightly touched by Hans`s back wheel?

    Inexcusable Behaviour...

No, Funnily enough i do not wish to see an end of selling alcohol at speedway meetings. Because like many other people i like the odd pint after the meeting is over. But i do not go around throwing bottles or beer glasses at people because i am upset, frustrated or had one too many. Those who cannot handle their drink, clearly should stay clear of it. Or in the end it gets taken away from us all. Which would be a great shame. As the majority would have to suffer because of the minority. Yes, i agree with you. Bring those to bare who are the aggressers and lets get shot of them.

    Inexcusable Behaviour...

A one off incident eh? Didn`t we here of something similar to this only last month? And things can easily get out of hand. One day it might just be a glass bottle, the next it could be far worse, unless there is a hard nosed stance to such behavouir. Surely you should know that?

    Inexcusable Behaviour...

I see this all as a great shame. A shame we have come to this, after years upon years of friendlyness between all supporters. A shame that a mindless minority are ruin the pleasure for everyone else. A shame that you have to think twice before letting your children come to one of these meetings in the future because of the bad language etc.... And finally a great shame that we cannot rid ourselfs of these mindless idiots. So what happens next? Someone gets stabbed, someone gets glassed/bottled? Ordo we stand up to these thugs and barr them? And the debate which is a sad state of affairs, but do we allow alcahol to be served?

    They Blew It!

    They Blew It!

I see people are knocking Travis Mcgowan. To me personally i thought the lad was a damn site better than a certain Chris Louis, who was supposed to be the inform man I still say David Norris would of achieved more. Afterall it was his own track for around 10 seasons. The Aussies were let down not by Travis, but by the form of Ryan Sullivan and a normanly outstanding Leigh Adams. The brits need to thank Scott Nicholls for keeping us in there with a shout. Our gating was totally shockingly bad. And needs addressing if we are going to be a World Beater. The Swedes run out of heats/time as they were on the march in those later races. The Danes were a class act, but N.P attitude reminds me of a certain miss piggy

Swc Final Sat 22 July 2006

A very good Swc final. The Hans Andersen/ Chris Harris incident was somewhat unfair to Hans, as all the replays clearly had no contact with Chris bailing out. For allof those who were demanding Chris Louis to be there in the line up. Well i personally felt Chris Louis was outstanding ( in his racing suit) My god he was sooo bad, he only got second place in his last ride (three riders only) because Charlie Gjedde lost control of his bike. Lets face it Chris WAS a great rider a few years ago, but not now. To me Team GB were for most of the meeting were a one man team. Scott Nicholls without him we would of been nowhere near. And we can thank Jason Crump in falling off in his last ride, to save us all from the blushes of being placed forth. I would like to see some positive actions come from this. Firstly i would like to see everyone in Team Gb to remain positive, to only think of winning. Get every british rider and i mean EVERY british rider to improve their gating skills. In order to win and to be focused to win we need to be in a winning position, not at the back, not in third, but second or first especially out from the gate. So i take my hat off to the Danes, who were the best team on the night. I think Team GB showed plenty of spirit in coming back the way they did, but that was down mainly to Scott Nicholls. Sweden also made a comeback in the later stages. So things need to be learnt from this experience. They have already learnt the mental approach, which in it self is fantastic. Gating now must be the number ONE priority!! And finally Team GB did their best, but they could do better next time with the implemented practice and improvement. Good Luck in that
