Quite fancy checking out the Cardiff Bay area pre-meeting. Don't worry there are bars there!

Can any Waspies or anyone tell me how far it is from the Mill Stad, and how to find it?

Too far to walk. You can catch a bus but can't remember the number. Just ask somebody with a Welsh accent :P

It's worth going down there, nice ice cream B)

there are loads of buses between the city center and the bay, a taxi will cost arround a fiver each way,

If you want to walk it is a long walk but there are few refreshment stops (pubs lol) on the way.

We walked there -

we stayed at the bay - very nice (good choice Pammie & family :approve: )

And we took a pre GP cruise around the bay - of course we were accompanied - by only the elite

Quite impressive isn't it.

My father was brought up in Cardiff in the 40's and said that Tiger Bay was a total no go area. Without doubt the roughest part of Cardiff and a place where you simply didn't go. Now its the most expensive real estate in Wales
