Roman's fate was posted on here a while ago, all a bit sad..............

 

Apparently joined the police on retirement, but hit the booze & ended up in jail for a stretch, he is/was apparently a farm worker since his release

In Lt's defence, Acorn Dobson was a speedway rider of some renoun in years gone by. I have a pic of him in one of my books!

Roman's fate was posted on here a while ago, all a bit sad..............

 

Apparently joined the police on retirement, but hit the booze & ended up in jail for a stretch, he is/was apparently a farm worker since his release

It was no suprise that Roman hit the skids, he was the only rider i ever saw who used to go to meetings with a bike strapped to the back of a car. I always used to see him drink a pint in record time straight after a meeting.

Always thought it was "wood for the trees" or is that some Australian derivative:blink:
