Here are the teams and venues for the Junior World Cup 2005

 

QUALIFYING ROUND 1

May 16

Abensberg, GER

Austria, Germany, Sweden and USA

 

QUALIFYING ROUND 2

August 27

Rybnik, POL

Finland, France, Poland and Russia

 

QUALIFYING ROUND 3

August 28

Holsted DEN

Australia, Denmark, Norway and Ukraine

 

FINAL

October 1

Pardubuice, CZR

Czech Republic plus winners of the Qualifying Rounds.

 

Nice to see France, USA and Norway taking an active part.

I actually think this idea for a tournament is a good one.

Bloody Britain rejected the idea, I think throwing riders in at the deep end makes them better.

:mad: Typical of our speedway "leaders" to reject this competition. Our new academy scheme would be the ideal start point for young British riders to progress to junior championships. Having seen some of our under 15's and budding CL riders I think they would actually do well, given the right support.

Looking on one of the German sites it has the line up for Abensberg as

England,Germany,Sweden,USA :unsure:

i guess its an error.anyone know for defo its wrong,even pressuming that England is wrong and it is Britain

Hi

I did notice the possible Aussie team, by the time it comes around Sam Martin will be 16yo and i would think that the injuries he had will be healed up and could be inclued in the team.
