Hazzman 72 Posted November 30, 2004 Here are the teams and venues for the Junior World Cup 2005 QUALIFYING ROUND 1 May 16 Abensberg, GER Austria, Germany, Sweden and USA QUALIFYING ROUND 2 August 27 Rybnik, POL Finland, France, Poland and Russia QUALIFYING ROUND 3 August 28 Holsted DEN Australia, Denmark, Norway and Ukraine FINAL October 1 Pardubuice, CZR Czech Republic plus winners of the Qualifying Rounds. Nice to see France, USA and Norway taking an active part. I actually think this idea for a tournament is a good one. Bloody Britain rejected the idea, I think throwing riders in at the deep end makes them better.
suzuki star 882 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Typical of our speedway "leaders" to reject this competition. Our new academy scheme would be the ideal start point for young British riders to progress to junior championships. Having seen some of our under 15's and budding CL riders I think they would actually do well, given the right support.

Andy 0 Posted December 5, 2004 Hi I did notice the possible Aussie team, by the time it comes around Sam Martin will be 16yo and i would think that the injuries he had will be healed up and could be inclued in the team. Andy
