REDLOH RACING AUSTRALIA/MICK POOLE SPEEDWAY SPARES RELEASE: From Anth

(06) May 15th 05

Australian under 21 champion Chris Holder has been putting in the work since

he touched down in the U.K. on May 3rd with practices at various tracks such

as Swindon, Poole, Peterborough, Coventry and Belle Vue. With Chris

expressing a liking for both the Coventry and Poole tracks in particular.

Chris in his final hit out this week will be tonight having a practice at

Kings Lynn and Belle Vue tomorrow night and a possibility of Peterborough

again early on the week before the big meeting this weekend.

So far Chris on board piloting a Jason Crump 500cc rocket ship has looked

very fast and smooth from the feedback received thus far but he knows full

well that he will be up against much more seasoned opponents on the actual

night and is under no elusions at the task ahead to progress onto the next

stage.

Chris as explained in previous releases is taking this experience as a big

learning curve as to what to expect in the big show of professional speedway

racing in the future. He will be not signing for any club at this stage of

proceedings. Chris will weigh up his future direction in speedway over the

course of the year with many factors to consider in order to reach the right

decision for both him personally and his career as a professional speedway

rider overseas.

As for the big one, the u 21 world qualifier at Belle Vue this weekend. It is

slated to start about 3pm U.K. time so we will be attempting to do a live

updates of the meeting from our man trackside as well as reports from within

the pits itself on the REDLOH RACING website.

We will have more information regarding the updates of that meeting as the

week goes along. Also we will be featuring a series of photos from the

meeting and the video or dvd of the meeting will be also available for

purchase for those Aussie's interested in having a Captain Cook at Chris's

biggest night to date in his young speedway career.

On the home front, the youngest member of REDLOH RACING, Jack had a spin on

his 125cc junior speedway solo bike at the practice track at Appin this

weekend where both his elder siblings James and Chris cut there teeth

previously.

Appin is a tight and tricky little track about 290 mts so it will be good

learning curve for the 9 year old flyer to learn the trade as he goes about

honing his skills on his bike in order to fulfill his ambition of one day

lining up against his 2 brothers on a senior track.
