Well it wasn't for Andrew Tully in the U21 qualifier at Scunthorpe on Sunday

 

He managed (funnily enough) 13 points over the 5 heats ( therefore 3rd ) but when it came to the Run Offs he shed a chain when he was well ahead of the others on the second turn of the last lap.

 

If he wasn't superstitios before I bet he is now

Mind you, I recall he was seeded into LAST year's Final too, so not so your logic necessarily holds up..!!??

7.00pm 1st race

 

So that's a 7PM start rather than 7.30..??!!

For the record I think the top 6 will be:

Boxall

Wright

Woffindon

King

If the track is slick and dry like last saturday I would go for Eddie.

If the track is wet with lots of fresh shale I would go for Lewis with his Brian Anderson tuned skyrocket

This is the Final, bazaar3. Top three go into the British Final at Wolverhampton to play with the big boys!

Think you'll find he means how many from this meeting progress through to the qualifying rounds of the World Under 21 Championship....something slightly more important than the mickey mouse event the British Final has turned out to be of late.

Top 3 Go to British Final as far as i know.

The Top 5 of the Under-21 UK Championship qualify for the World Under-21 Quarters.

 

With 2 appearing at Gorican, Croatia on 12th May

And 3 appearing at Rye House on 12th May

 

There is also 3 places for the UEM Under-19 European Championship.

1 place at Miskolc, Hungary on 28th May

2 places at Daugavpils, Latvia on 14th July

 

I can only think these go to the three highest placed eligible riders.
