My Tickets For Cardiff Haven't Arrived Yet.

Hi,

Apologies if this has been mentioned in other threads; however, I ordered two of the £29.00 tickets for the British GP, back in December, and they still haven't arrived.

Has anyone else not recieved their's yet? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum Mark.

 

Don't worry, no-one else has received theirs yet either. Would think they're imminent in the next week or so - same as previous years to be honest.

 

Keep an eye on the forum - people will post as soon as they start arriving. :approve:

got mine on the phone last week,guy said it would be  two weeks before i got them so i would'nt panic!

I did mention this on an earlier thread. My ex husbands company has produced the tickets for Cardiff this year. These tickets have to be made in such a way that they cannot be copied easily ie forgers. Hence this is why IMG do not distribute them until the very last minute, because if you give forgers enough time they will find a way of reproducing them so no-one would know the difference. Hope that has made you all feel a bit better.

Im not panicking either. our tickets for last year arrived a WEEK before. no problems its all good!!!!!!!!! :lol::P

I have to say mine didn't turn up at all last year but the contingency plan set out made sure they were easy enough to pick up at the ticket office. No queing at all, just straight into the office and a special counter. No worries for this year .......just yet. :mad:

Have to admit I was beginning to panic it's my 1st gp. I'm glad of the reassurance that they are traditionally quite late in arriving. :D

Like all tickets for many events, they dont post until two weeks before because they dont want them lost in the post or forged.

I booked my tickets on line and recently had this email

 

Dear MISS HIRST,

 

We apologise for the delay in despatching your tickets for your recent order.

You booked 2 tickets for SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX on SATURDAY 30/06/2007 made on

30/04/2007. Your reference number(s) for this order is XXXXXXXX.

Your tickets will be despatched as soon as we receive them.

Please allow as much time as possible for your tickets to arrive, if they have

not arrived 5 days before the event contact us on 0871 220 0260

Please do not contact us earlier as we will not be able to give you an exact

answer until closer to the show.

so it sounds like we only have to panic if it gets to five days before the GP i.e. Monday 25th June post at latest

I see that the postal workers have voted in favour of industrial action today.

Is there a contingency plan for the tickets?

just this very second ordered mine, as i wasnt sure if it would 5 4 3 2 or 2 going this year.

 

as its only me ive gone for the best remaining tickets, never been on the home straight before :)
