The Travel Plus group will be there in force, supporting this worthwhile event.

No doubt many of our party will be following the progress of Filip Sitera, who became a big favourite with the group during last year's tour.

Do you , or anyone, know if it's possible to get there by public transport from Prague? Doesn't look too far.

You can get there using a combination of trains and buses. This site:

Czech Railways

has a jouney planner.

Good luck to Tomas Topinka in this meeting. :approve: Going to be a busy weekend for him with PT final on Sunday.

Can't believe its almost a year ago that Toni passed away. :(

There is also a bus service from Prague bus station to Mseno - have used this route on previous occasion & it takes about an hour. Also there is a small visitors centre in Mseno not far from track who are really helpful with travel advice for the return journey to Prague. Could also suggest negotiatiing a price for taxi if you have enough individual fare paying passengers - this can be done at visitors centre & was quite reasonable per head. The Officials at the track are also very helpful & on one occasion arranged for supporter/fan from Prague to provide lift back for petrol money only.

Hope this maybe some help

To be technically correct heat 21 was a run off with three riders tied on 14 points. Indeed it provided the best race of the night with Sitera beating Rymel from the gate, only to be be passed and then repassing to take the victory.

Saw the boy at Brezolupy, Slany and Divisov last year, and he is certainly a crowd pleaser.

Simota rode at Divisov on Sunday, may not have been available for Mseno.

As for the GP, I reckon he ranks well behind Tomicek, Franc, Kus, Rymel and Sitera in the Czech pecking order.
