superguest 194 Posted September 20, 2007 Not a bad debut from Steve Boxall.
rabbit 1 Posted September 20, 2007 In the negotiations with BSPA, SVEMO suggested Wednesday 19/9 as a rerserve day but BSPA could not accept that since that would mean that Poole would not have a homemeeting for 3 weeks. So it was decided to use Thursday 20/9 instead.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pity they bothered after the way we rode last night Good to see Boxall do so well tonight. Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 21, 2007 (edited) Big drama in Gislaved. 12 heats have been ridden and Valsarna leads 10p and it have started to Rain and no light pour but heavy raining. If the meeting have to bee canceled now and no more heats can be ridden Valsarna is in Elitserien 2008! with a 1p victory. Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 21, 2007 I make it 3 points to Lejonen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the standing tonight after 12 haets is 31-41 and if they have to cancel the meeting the scores will be added to yesterdays scores after 12 heats which was 31-40. Thats makes a total score of 72-71 in favor of Valsarna.

Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted September 21, 2007 appearently SVEMO screwd up again and decided about new rules for the fianls yesterday, For ages in Sweden if you need to cancel a meeting before heat 16 the bonus is awarded to the team who has the highest total score after the same amount of ridden heats. But a new rule decided about yesterday says that its the full score of the first meeting that counts. Also it seems like lejonen refused to ride simply because they knew if they stopped the meeting after 12 heats they are safe with 3p but if the meeting would go on they would loose with more then 13p... IMO thats unsportsmanlike and almost cheating.
