Swedish Playoffs 2007

Recommended Posts

Sorry for a late answer, haven't spent much time in front of the computer the last three days.

My question is could it have been done and they could have raced in fair conditions?

I'm not an expert, but we did have both machines and new shale to put on the track. Would it have been more dangerous than under normal track conditions? Well, yes, that's why the meeting was abandoned by the referee after discussion (sp?) with the team managers. Have I seen meetings been ridden in worse condition? Yes, many times in the GP's (Målilla last year for starters).

I talked with the track staff today and they said it would have been really patchy, and they know best I'm sure.

Or was it tactics on the highest level by Wirebrand and team?

 Oh, I can't believe those conspiracy teories. The financial losses to cancel a meeting is high, it would be suiside to cancel/postpone a meeting just for the sake of it. (I know you mean it just as a "teaser")

Anyway beat Västervik and send them home shattered!

I wish. Västervik was the far better team in the semifinals and won comfortably against us, our tail was too long to stand a chance.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but GO DACKARNA in the finals! B)

:o:o

have you missed the dates in the first post on the first page? there is all dates and links you'll need! ;)

and about reserves. reserves can only be used in 6 heats.

The 2007 Swedish Champions will be Västervik i think. Simply because they have Chris harris as a reserve. Personally i dont like that teams can have a top 8 GP rider/ GP winner as a reserve.

I know the points still count, but all the riders he beat in his last meeting were reserves. So he's just the top scoring reserve.

Looks like they're continuing their form of Monday. A smidgen of cromfort to Swindon fans, Ulamek & Chrzanowski weren't disinterested last night just rubbish.

Dackarna is 10 points ahead and Västervik will have to be really good tomorrow if they are going to win the title especially since Dackarna can use tactical substitute when VV is 6p ahead in tomorrows meeting despite being 4ps after Dackarna totally.

It could very well develop to a last heat decider.

Agree, Västervik will need a superb performence to climb back from this hole. Dackarna seems, in contrary to previous seasons, to have kept the form entering the Play Off and with the possibility of tactical substitutions, I hold them as favourites to win it on aggregate.
