T.N.T. 355 Posted September 22, 2007 With one round to go, so far we know Nicki Pedersen, Leigh Adams, Jason Crump, Neils K Iversen, Lukas Dryml and Bjarne Pedersen will take six of the fifteen places. It would be unthinkable that Tomasz Gollob and Hans Andersen will miss the top eight, so thats now eight out of fifteen secured. This leaves three automatic places left with Hancock, Harris, Nicholls, Holta, Jagus, Jonsson and Hampel all capable of filling those three spots. 187 Nicki Pedersen 142 Leigh Adams 109 Jason Crump 100 Tomasz Gollob 98 Hans Andersen 90 Greg Hancock 87 Chris Harris 83 Scott Nicholls 81 Rune Holta 75 Wieslaw Jagus 70 Andreas Jonsson 67 Jaroslaw Hampel 66 Bjarne Pedersen 48 Matej Zagar 31 Antonio Lindback Zagar and Lindback will be out, making way for Iversen and Dryml, but will there be any riders not in the current series that could get a nomination ? Fredrik Lindgren - The first rider in the queue has to be the 22 year-old Swede who scored 21 points in his two appearances this season, including one Final place. With Sweden, like England and Poland having to have TWO riders in the Series, Lindgren and Jonsson should be 2 nominations. Harris and Nicholls will both be eligable for a nomination should one of those two fail to qualify, while Rune Holta will get a nomination (ahead of Hampel) if he fails to make the top 8 So the Final 15 for 2008 are Seeded 01 Nicki Pedersen 02 Leigh Adams 03 Jason Crump 04 Tomasz Gollob 05 Hans Andersen 06 Greg Hancock 07 Chris Harris 08 Nicholls or Holta Qualifiers 09 Neils K Iversen 10 Lukas Dryml 11 Bjarne Pedersen Nominations 12 Nicholls or Holta 13 Fredrik Lindgren 14 Andreas Jonsson 15 Jagus or Hampel The final place will be down to Poland/FIM to choose between Jagus and Hampel. Cant see Kasprzak getting in front of these two. Should Hancock finish 9th, then I would say Jagus and Hampel will both get nominated ahead of the ever present Greg. Anyone I've Missed

Ghostwalker 1,863 Posted September 22, 2007 (edited) since BSI prefer nationality before performance i would'nt count out Zagar just yet. I wouldnt be surprised if he gets a wc just because he's slovenian. Edited September 22, 2007 by Ghostwalker

Gemini 4,894 Posted September 22, 2007 Harris and Nicholls will both be eligable for a nomination should one of those two fail to qualify Please let it be Chris Harris or we're going to have another load of "Nicholls is a beggar" posts that will last for the next 6 months. What a load of ill-informed nonsense. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 2 Swedes - 2 Poles and 2 English riders have to be in the line up. Seems Mildenhall07 has the same 15 I'm gonna say: 1. Nicki Pedersen 2. Leigh Adams 3. Jason Crump 4. Hans Andersen 5. Tomasz Gollob 6. Greg Hancock 7. Scott Nicholls 8. Chris Harris 9. Niels K Iversen 10. Lukas Dryml 11. Bjarne Pedersen 12. Rune Holta 13. Fredrik Lindgren 14. Andreas Jonsson 15. Wieslaw Jagus <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Emma Louise = If both Greg and Leigh finish, which is unlikely (especially Leigh), then Hampel or Jagus gets the one place (or two)
Trees 2,814 Posted September 23, 2007 Change the GP set up altogether, have 4 qualifiers and 4 GPs, they won't become so repetative as they are now and more riders get to challenge for the title every year.
