Trackman 3 Posted January 27, 2008 Comments: The track is really tricky. Lunchy has said it will be interesting to hear the riders comments about the track, the first heat time was 59.7 and heat 8 was 66.7! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Steady on.... Comments like that can get you banned...... Regards.
rabbit 1 Posted January 27, 2008 Nice one Chris. Good result for Proctor - be interested to see how he does over here this year. Definitely one for the future. Aussies are racking up the quality youngsters at a rate of knots. Good to see for the future of antipodean speedway after a slightly dodgy phase.
ajh 0 Posted January 27, 2008 (edited) Hugh Skidmore - Got to be the best name in speedway. Very apt Could anyone who watched the meeting comment on Kozza's two exclusions? When I saw him in the UK he looked very fast but very raw. Does he need to calm down a bit or was it track conditions? Certainly think he will be entertaining in the UK this season but as I commented on the updates thread, think he will wind up a few opposition fans as he gets amongst their favourites Also congrats to Chris Holder and bad luck to Troy. Think he's destined never to win the U21 title. Edited January 27, 2008 by ajh

RedcarRacer 228 Posted January 27, 2008 Well done Ty, brilliant result - didnt think he was at the level to beat somebody like Batchelor in the main meeting. Cant wait to see you in action at the STMP! PS - Is Toby Proctor Ty's brother?
BigFatDave 258 Posted January 27, 2008 Ryan Sedgmen for King's Lynn. Looks good enough so far. Is he ready for England?????????? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Get in the Queue! Goodonya sEdgY2! Well Done Chris, what a Summer!

I do believe Kozza had a slice or two of bad luck, besides that Mildura is as far from Kings Lynn as you are ever likely to get, in distance, and track shape. Kozza is an all or nothing type of rider and Kings Lynn will suit him down to the ground. Mildura takes some mastering, quite a few in that field have local track experience. Kozza's a good 'un, make no mistake; he only just missed out on a spot in Ozchamps 08. Even some of the locals have problems at Mildura. As for the gripe about the quality of the field I think you'd better pull yer head in Sport. We've got a great crop of youngsters Down Under at the mo. No doubt you'll enjoy their skills over your way this year. Edited January 28, 2008 by BigFatDave
chopper 88 Posted January 28, 2008 Could anyone who watched the meeting comment on Kozza's two exclusions? First one he got thrown off first corner, second one very soft to say the least, but not suprising considering the lack of good refs around. Not much more than a bump while going through on the inside.Still think he has the goods. Ty Proctor showed the potentual ive always believed he has had, makes a huge difference if you gate well which has been his downfall. He will have some good and bad meetings in the uk, but supporters need to give him time. Aaron Summers, a big improver this season, looks all class. For sure Sedgy has the goods, great first up effort after the crash. Josh Grazonick was quick but needs some time on smaller tracks. Over 20 juniors plus the 350s , so things look bright although they were from most parts of australia.Sedgy junior and Josh Munro having there last junior rides. Hi BFD, couldnt give you exact details but Young Sedge and Kurtz were having some good races, think they might have shared the wins. The rest of the placings were shared between the other three.Robert had a second and a couple of thirds, hes finding out about riding tracks with some grip, but is learning all the time, problem is hes not getting any rides, gillman arent coming to the party. Very entertaining they were too, always enjoyable watching the youngsters going round.
