It's on speedwayworld.tv now. What's going on with the Rusky's they only have 4 riders, is Emil S (won't even try and spell it) injured? as Darkin named though not riding weird?

riding order changed for GB as well.

Please note that although Sergey Darkin has been named in the team, he will not ride and the Russian's have not been able to replace him.

So what goes on with that? Russians don't have a rider in Darkin's races?

Yes, except of course that they ought to be permanently six points adrift of the leader after the first five heats, so they'll be able to cover his remaining four rides with the existing riders as tactical substitutes.

As for Sajfutdinov, he's on his way to Croatia for the Under-21 semi-final that the FIM have stupidly scheduled for Saturday.

i guess that if the russians go 6 down, they can bring the other 4 riders in place to cover for him

I'll have a guess.........no rider until 6pts behind, then they can use a tactical sub.

That's probably rubbish but it's a stab in the dark

The FIM have managed to directly interfere with one of their flagship events in Speedway. There's 2 or 3 Russki lads doing practice lads around Gorican today.

Looking at those line-ups, I reckon we can win it.

So in heat 2 they will have no rider but next heat is Heat 10 so will be able to cover him from then on

As long as they're six points behind the leader come Ht 10. And, realistically, they'll probably be six points behind everyone by then. Going to be a tough night for the Russians.
