f-s-p 832 Posted January 11, 2009 License is always good to be considered the same as insurance. Joni Kontoniemi has been changed in place of Aakko for the EC final at Lukhovitsy.
tommy 0 Posted January 11, 2009 (edited) This is their site but it is all in German. http://www.eisspeedway-berlin.de/ Gates open on Saturday at 2pm, with racing at 5pm, and gates open Sunday at 11am with racing starting at 2pm. You should be able to get standing tickets on the gate, but there is a facility to buy them in advance. Are you only going on the Sunday then? thx Conkers, not sure yet if I'll go on Sunday or Sat. Conkers 67 Posted January 11, 2009 What time can you get the tickets on the day at Inzell and what times do the turnstiles open Have a look on their website : http://www.dmv-lg-suedbayern.de/Startseite/startseite.html If you look on the tab "Eintrittspreise" on the left it gives the start times and prices. Doesn't say what time the Turnstiles open, but it's usually 2-3 hours ahead of the start time.

Henry Van Der Steen DNR Pretty much decided in the first race this meeting, when the line up was Zorn ®, Bauer (, Akko (w) and Dmitri K. (y) Vitali K dropped points to his brother, Zorn and Bauer Results were done live on the Speedway-Forum.de site which had a great self updating scoresheet! Excellent Stuff! Considering this was originally supposed to be the toughest round, it was pretty predictable on the scoring. Maybe all the changes to the original line up watered down the meeting somewhat. DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted January 11, 2009 Well.. I'm back from Ice Racing in Wartena! What a great day, awesome. The organisation did an awesome job, nice little track (about 250 meters). Johnny Tuinstra was even racing there, awesome battles betweem him and Tjitte Bootsma. Small note.. loads of negative words about our "great" federation. Loads of Moto-x/Speedway riders where ready to rock, but they couldn't because they could risk a 2 year ban! And to make to story even "weirder".. Henry van der Steen was allowed to race on a Ice Racing bike, but not on a Speedway bike? . Anyway... roll on Stadskanaal next week... hope the weather stays like this . Conkers 67 Posted January 11, 2009 And to make to story even "weirder".. Henry van der Steen was allowed to race on a Ice Racing bike, but not on a Speedway bike? . Wasn't he the reserve in Saalfelden or are there two riders with that name
DutchGrasstrack 804 Posted January 11, 2009 No, Henry van der Steen was racing in Wartena , but he was supposed to race in Saalfelden (as a reserve though).
