ballinger 32 Posted May 9, 2009 Absolutely spot on refereeing decision. Walsek was on the white line and Pedersen was trying to lean all over him! Yes Walasek 'hits' him but only because Pedersen is trying to climb over him. Finally a referee with some bollocks. Just wound Sky+ back to see what the fuss is about, sorry chaps but IMO that's as bad a decision as Malilla last year from Mr Darago.
Rob B 1,257 Posted May 9, 2009 Terrible decision. He did try to lean on Walasek but Walasek just rode straight and didn't turn. Terrible decision. Did you want Walasek to go over the kerb and onto the grass then, he was riding right on the inside! Pedersen has done it loads of times, he cuts across the rider on the inside makes sure there is contact and if he does come off the rider on the inside usually gets excluded. Did it to Crump at Leszno last year and twice at Cardiff last year.

srbramble 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Terrible decision. He did try to lean on Walasek but Walasek just rode straight and didn't turn. Terrible decision. Pedesen wasn't in full control of his bike just before the contact. IMO, because of that, he lost the corner, and turned left on Walasek. Watch it again. Good decision by the ref. Get over it. Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted May 9, 2009 i'm with wanna here, sure Nicki tried to lean on Walsek but Walesek wasnt any better when he tried to push Nicki out and just went straigh ahead right into Nicki. IMO all 4 back would have been the most appropiate for first bend incidents like these especially with the lack of consitency from the ref's.

Rob B 1,257 Posted May 9, 2009 Very strange, can only presume the referee was pressing the button and they didn't go up before Jonsson went through them
Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted May 9, 2009 (edited) all 4 back yeah this ref is really weird allthough the ref claims technical error. but i dont know if it really was or if the ref screw up. *edit* i mean its easy to say afterwards that it was a technical error if he did screw up. srbramble 0 Posted May 9, 2009 There just has to be a good explaination for it, but I can't think what it might be. Strangest decision of the night.

tomhaines 68 Posted May 9, 2009 Can someone confirm... is the tied places decided on heat wins/2nds/3rds or on when the riders met?
