C'mon Wolves, i know you've all had a well earned bender this week, but its 2 days till this meeting and only 7 of the 16 are named(Plus Kenny Ingalls mentioned on the US Dream Team thread) and some of us will be travelling far for this and would like to know who will be there.

Is it just the Wolves boys filling the other places?

Good set of riders already released and of course i'm hoping for at least a couple of newbies to the Uk to cross of my list!!

The inference in the Star is that all seven of the title-winning Wolves will ride plus those listed by superguest above and Ingalis as you mention, David..

That makes 16.

I do think personally it's a bit of a shame to have so many home riders in the line-up: only because it reduces the interest overall in the field which is after all an individual (and a very long standing one at that - dating back as far as I can see to 1966 when Briggo won it at Newcastle...). However I can see in the circumstances that as a 'homecoming' after their heroics at Swindon the club would want to give Monmore Green fans a chance to celebrate with them all..

Let me jinx his chances by predicting a surprise win for Darcy Ward...

No Darcy Ward, Cam Woodward replaces.

That's a big disappointment... Anyone know the full line up then, coz as a potential attendee I have to say the lack of any info AT ALL on the Wolves site hardly encourages me to go...

01 Nicolai Klindt

02 Ben Barker

03 Tai Woffinden

04 William Lawson

05 Fredrik Lindgren

06 Chris Kerr

07 Adam Skornicki

08 Kenni Larsen

09 Joe Haines

10 Scott Nicholls

11 Lewis Bridger

12 Ty Proctor

13 Kevin Wolbert

14 Kenny Ingalls

15 Cameron Woodward

16 Chris Harris

17 Jim Fishback

No doubt Fredrik Lindgren, Tai Woffinden, Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris will be the big four to beat in this meeting, but I'm going to say there could be a big result from Nicolai Klindt here.

He faces Tai in heat one and Tai should have the beating of him, but that would then give him a head start over Freddie in his next outing and Wolves fans know that when Nic hits the front he is faster than Freddie around the Green.

I will go for a Wolves 1-2-3 with Freddie, Tai and Nicolai ;)

17 Jim Fishback

whilst I wouldnt want any of the 16 to withdraw through injury, a small cold would do.

I would love to see Fish in this meeting!

It would also make Silver Bee's day.

Ingalls and Fishback would be AWSOME!:wink:

I'm surprised that no Birmingham rider is invited. Might have attracted a few more fans, after all Birmingham is only 18 miles away.

true. tho its usually about blending popular visiting riders and new riders .

And to be fair there wasnt many wolves riders invited to the Joe Thurley open meeting.

Kerr exempt.

Think your wish might just have come true Sandie. When we dropped the lads and bikes off last night after Newport Jimmy got the call that he was in the meeting ...so Dream Team fans have two riders to support (plus old boy Kerr Kat!!):approve: .......and I have two riders to look after !!

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm.

Thanks

Tai out of tonight's meeting with suspected Swine Flu!! Info is from the official Wolves site. They are looking for a replacement - which is probably Jimmy Fishback.
