Woofy Westernapolis 1st Darcy Ward 2nd Sam Masters 3rd Joe Haines 4th Taylor Poole Ward was clinical and won his 5 heats then won the 10 lap final, ahead of Masters who looked pretty good, Haines and Poole. Darcy Wards legend grows as everything he does he turns it into gold. He looked in more control of the bike than most people driving a car down a freeway. Note: No trick track here though the track got dug up by sidecars and was constantly changing and being watered and graded 3 times. So must have been difficult to adapt to. Darcy showed why he is going to be the next world champion, every move he did on the bike showed 'racer' and though he was riding with his mates he is the consumate pro and his racing instincts are automatic. Even the lightling fast look back to check the rider behind him, is so quick, and precise you know he means business. Did the Woffinden family proud for sure, Edited November 21, 2009 by dirt

Think you got the wrong end of the stick there, Dirt........Rebelknight is talking about Sam Masters, not Darcy. Sam has signed to ride in the UK, for the Somerset Rebels, for the 2010 season. If you wanna give someone the big I am, and speak about future world Champions, then you speak about only one rider. Emil Sayfutdinov.

HBKPCNBob 5 Posted November 26, 2009 You really do over-hype Ward! If you wanna give someone the big I am, and speak about future world Champions, then you speak about only one rider. Emil Sayfutdinov. Emil doesnt need 'bigging' up Chrissy, we could all see he is a potential world champion, just by how he has done in his 1st Grand Prix season. Darcy is of the same mould, a 'potential' world champion, same with Chris Holder too but until any of them actually win it then they'll just be that. Same was said about Gollob, Adams, Sullivan etc years ago and look at them. So close but not good enough. Whoever wins the title over the next decade, were in for a superb series with the talent around atm.

rebelknight 0 Posted December 5, 2009 is there any results from the nsw title meeting
daveoo 0 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) is there any results from the nsw title meeting Got this from a aussie site and will post more if it comes through. as at 8.30 pm Chris Holder has not been beaten. Sam Masters has had a win over Darcy Ward. Taylor Poole has had a win a 3rd and in another where he was leading his deflector came adrift and hit his back guard. If I get any more results I'll post Got this courtesy of ausm site see below. Final results from The NSW Title 1st Ward 2nd Masters 3rd C. Holder 4th Skidmore. Thanks to Gavin. 06/12/09 Update Just realised that poor Hugh Skidmore had to come through qualifying. 4th is a brilliant achievement in that case. I know that Taylor Poole scored 7 points. He too had to qualify. > > > .......The qualifying heats (with the accent on heat!) just produced the obvious - with maybe one or two exceptions. I wasn't there to endure it all, but I'm told there was some good racing with close finishes. The riders had 3 qualifying races each. Qlders Tyson Nelson and Harley Horwood qualified, as did Joe Haines. Ricky Wallace and Mason Campton were two who missed out. As it happened, it was a disaster for Horwood, who fell unaided in turn 1 and went into the fence with his bike following him in. He suffered a compound fracture of the femur, and was attended to on the track for over half and hour. > He was transferred to Armidale Hospital and operated on this morning. > Sam Masters and Chris Holder both beat Darcy Ward in their heats, but Ward made no mistake in the final, with Masters nipping past Holder as he tried to set up a move on Ward. Jamie Stauffer was a surprise. Heat 1, he was leading Richard Sweetman, Kurt Shilds and Harley Horwood when his bike stopped. He beat Joe Haines and James Holder in later heats - also had a fall. Michael Penfold had a disasterous night, and was in a bit of pain at the end of the night. He finished second to Chris Holder first time out, then his bike wouldn't fire for his second race, then he came last, then he fell heavily, then did not finish his last race. > Scores: Chris Holder 15, Darcy Ward 13, Sam Masters 11, Jason Doyle 10, Hugh Skidmore 9, Alex Davies 8, Kurt Shields 7, Taylor Poole 7, Joe Haines 6, Tyson Nelson 6, Richard Sweetman 6, James Holder 6, Jamie Stauffer 5, Todd Kurtz 5, Michael Penfold 2, Harley Horwood 2, > Mason Campton (res) 1. > B Final: 1. Skidmore, 2. Doyle, 3. Davies, 4. Shields. > A Final: 1. Ward, 2. Masters, 3. C.Holder, 4. Skidmore. > > Gavin. > Edited December 6, 2009 by daveoo
