Tipsy_McStagger 3 Posted November 27, 2003 Remember him being on Superstars, didn't do to well. Think he capsided in the canoe race . As a then Brummie fan i should have hated him, racing for Cradley and all that, but you couldn't deny that he had it all, the best in the business, and always seem to have time for the fans. It'll be great to see him back in action. By the way did he every appear in CHiPs, the was a lot of fuss about his acting career, but to be honest i've never seen him in anything. How about Sky taking him on as a presenter!!!!!.
Grachan 7,364 Posted November 27, 2003 Yeah, he did a whole series of Chips, before advancing into the glamorous world of soft porn, normally playing people called Bruce.

heathen79 6 Posted February 11, 2004 Just to bring this topic back to life again, a new book should be available later this year which gives all the ins and outs of Bruce's career. Â PENHALL - The Bruce Penhall Story has been a work in progress for 12 months and is now due for publication with plenty of contribution from Bruce himself. Â Web site at www.brucepenhall.co.uk
BrizHeathen 37 Posted February 13, 2004 I have so many memories of Bruce Penhall, a true superstar. His first big win in the Masters Series, was that in 1979? His rivalry with kenny Carter. The first World Championship at Wembley, including two awesome wins from the back (against Olsen and Knudsen) Leading Cradley to victories in all the major competitions in the space of three years (BL, KO Cup, League Cup, and Fours) Â Not to mention his appearance in "On any Sunday" Â Shame about the way it all ended in 1982, but the good he brought to speedway and Cradley in particular far outweigh the bad. Â I hope people don't expect too much from Bruce at Telford, up against a couple of old timers who still race competetively, apart from the odd exhibition race around the world Bruce hasn't raced seriously for many years, its graet to have him back on track though, i wish I was there to see it.
