Did I got to the wrong meeting?

It was just above average, at best.

I wish someone would removes Ricky's X-rays, how he can possibly see inside the engine when he get beat by another rider is amazing. Will he ever acknowledge that another rider beat him without blaming his bike! It is so funny.

Have to disagree about your above average at best quote. However that is what makes the world such an interesting place. People have different opinions. So what would you actually class as a good speedway meeting? ;)

he didn't need x Ray glasses as he knows exactly what's going on inside his engines after all he builds them himself.

I loved last nights meeting. Great line up - credit has to go to the Sheffield promotion for such quality. Ricky was a worthy winner against riders who I would certainly class as Owlerton specialists.. Lemo, Parker, Howe, Lyons, Fisher, for starters not to mention Hally and Josh and I've missed some there.. so fair play to him, he worked hard for it and fully deserved it. Special mention and a lot of credit to our Skiddy aswell who looked quick, winning races against some top men, go Hugh :approve:

Don't usually go in for individual meetings, but have to say I quite enjoyed this one. Well Done Ricky Ashworth the best rider on the night, closely followed by Hugh Skidmore.

Biggest disappointment on the night was Ryan Fisher, and how poor he was, if he has any designs on winning the PLRC he will have to do alot better than that.

Finally great to see Captain Paul Cooper at Owlerton.

Finally great to see Captain Paul Cooper at Owlerton.

Was excellent to see him there after and during a tough time for him, to hear him on the centre green thanking people and saying when he wants to be back "skidding on the bike" was even better. Go on Cooperman :approve:

You have to admire Coops, and the thing about Coops is that he always has time for the fans, watch him last night apologizing for his writing been poor when signing an autgraph for some young kids.

I just hope that he takes his time and is careful about a comeback, the lad has suffered some awful injuries over the years.

Could have been an off night, was really good when he came for the league match, looked a pale shadow of that rider.

Any news on Olly Allen, who had to withdraw after his nasty crash in Heat 1?
