Banks' Olypique 18/10

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this thread alrerady exists somewhere but I couldn't find one!!

Names so far included in the line-up are

Freddie Lindgren

Peter Karlsson

Chris Harris

Scott Nicholls

...plus the Wolves team, minus Klindt.

That's only just over half the number required, so who else is likely?

I think I heard Kevin Wolbert will be there.

I am surprised that no news has come out about this.

Danish prospect Niklas Porsing and the young Pole Slawomir Musielak.

Edit: Sorry, Richspeedway, wasn't a direct reply to your post. Just hit the wrong button! But while we're here Wolbert is in the field.

Any more riders or is there a chance that when I turn up I may be given a bike and asked to ride? There 4 or 5 places not announced yet.

As Chris Harris is already named, surely you don't need to know anymore SCB ?

As a visitor, Harris is amongst the best.

looked great at Stoke yesterday.

Shame the managment have decided not to make an effort in attracting fans to come and see these newcomers make their debut's etc.

The line - up looks something along the lines of

Chris Harris

Freddie Lindgren

Scott Nicholls

Peter Karlsson

Tai Woffinden

Adam Skornicki

Ty Proctor

Ludvig Lindgren

Kevin Wolbert

Matt Wethers

Joe Haines

Niklas Porsing

Slawomir Musielak

....... and 3 more.

It's no wonder the sport is seen by many as on its knees. This meeting is always one I pencil in but the Wolves management have seen fit to not even bother announcing the full line-up. Thankfully the inclusion of Bomber, Scotty and PK means it's a no-brainer when deciding whether to go or not but it's somewhat disrespectful to the other riders and hardly the best piece of PR/advertising you'll ever see.

To be fair, watching Bomber, Freddie* and PK picking rider off at Monmore does it for me, throw in Kevin Wolbert and Scotty Nicholls and I'm more than happy. I was just wondering who else would be there.

I love the Olympique and it would take something quite amazing to keep me away. The rest of the line up may not be great but the good thing about the olympique format is that it doesn't really matter.

*Edit > I lied a bit, I love it more when Freddie can't pick other riders off, sadly, it's a rare occurance.

that goes with the territory im afraid, and is indicative of individual meetings. The only way you know who'll be riding for sure in Australia over the years is to be at the track. B)
