ladyluck 1 Posted May 14, 2011 Pitiful GP. Should never have started on a soaking track that was only going to get worse. To aim to get to heat 16 is taking the piss. We could not have it tomorrow though could we? That would upset the Poles. No Polish league action tomorrow.

Ghostwalker 1,859 Posted May 14, 2011 Better than knocking one out Pitiful GP. Should never have started on a soaking track that was only going to get worse. And we keep being told GB can't have two GPs until we fill up Cardiff, how do Sweden have to GPs? The place was empty and it consistently a rubbish GP. the weather forecasts for tomorrow isn't really that good. decent on the morning but more rain expected towards and during the afternoon/evening. PHILIPRISING 7,298 Posted May 14, 2011 And your subservience to BSI is also something to behold. Would you jump off the roof of the Ullevi if Teddy Forstmann told you to? NEVER met the man and unlikely to given his current state of health. You would do better to allow facts to determine your opinions.
ladyluck 1 Posted May 14, 2011 NEVER met the man and unlikely to given his current state of health. You would do better to allow facts to determine your opinions. Fact: people paid for twenty-three heats. Fact: it started raining mid afternoon. Fact: there was next to no racing during sixteen heats. Fact: as soon as heat sixteen is passed it is called off. Fact: the first GP not to go the distance - at least Ole Olsen always got a GP to the finish when he started one.
T.N.T. 355 Posted May 14, 2011 Shame about the weather deciding events in this GP as it looked like it was going to be close in the Semi's as Greg, Noddy, Emil and Gollob were all starting to look possible winners along with Lindback who looked like a different rider to the first round. Here we are in the dawning of a new era of riders that can dominate the world of speedway with the likes of Holder, Emil, Lindgren and Ward .... yet joint leaders after 2 rounds are the Over 40's of Hancock and Gollob on 24 points. 24 - HANCOCK, GOLLOB 22 - Sayfutdinov 21 - Pedersen 19 - Holder 17 - Lindgren 17 - Hampel 17 - Kolodiej 12 - Bjerre 11 - Jonsson 11 - Crump 11 - Harris 10 - Holta 10 - Lindback 2 - Laguta

Yeh i agree, bit like Poland have how many GP's?. So tell me, where else can we hold a GP appart from Cardiff? And don't say Coventry.

Why do you always include Lindgren? He's done nothing of note on the global stage. Just because he's a big fish in the Elite League pond with your Wolverhampton? T.N.T. 355 Posted May 14, 2011 Why do you always include Lindgren? He's done nothing of note on the global stage. Just because he's a big fish in the Elite League pond with your Wolverhampton? I was stating that there are new young riders coming to the scene now and at just 25 years of age, I consider Freddiue to be one of those and even you cant question his talent in the sport. Ok, he has yet to win a GP, but has come close a few times and true his scores in this country are considerably better than abroad, but I (along with many many more) believe he will be one of the front runners in the not too distant future. PolskiZuzel 329 Posted May 14, 2011 That would upset the Poles. First get your facts rights...and then comment about the Poles. There is NO POLISH EKSTRALIGA TOMORROW
gypilgrim 0 Posted May 14, 2011 Why not run the meeting tomorrow AM, like they did in Croatia last year ? Conditions were, if anything, better at Scunthorpe last night and not a wheel was turned. P**s Poor
