Sheffield/scunthorpe Vs Buxton/stoke

Recommended Posts

Cant see the prowlers mentioned,i thought they were the Scunthorpe/Sheffield saints???

Ah, okay in that case prepare for it be 'wrong' in the Stoke prog. on Saturday!!

We were told before, that they'd be branded 'Sheffield' when riding at Owlerton and 'Scunny' when at Normanby. And then for away fixtures it would depend as to what called, on where the corresponding fixture had been/was p

klanned for..

Has that set up now changed..?

At Scunthorpe and corresponding away fixtures - Scunhorpe Saints

At Sheffield and corresponding away fixtures - Sheffield Saints

Overall - Scunthorpe/Sheffield Saints

With regards to Jake Knight riding - When has Sterichie ever posted anything factual? Leigh Boujos was replacing Ash Birks for Sheffield at Newport last week apparently

First meeting done in an hour, WOW! Fair play, they're not messing about at Sheffield tonight :o

Well that's a hard days night for Sheffthorpe, but six big league points safely banked.

Sounds like Richie Worrall has earned himself plenty of these :drink::drink::drink::lol:

Puts them nicely at the top of the table aswell and better news is Stefan Nielsen is hoping to be fit for Stoke on Saturday if not it'll be Monday.

That is good news. The first hand reports from King's Lynn were terrible. Stefan is a lucky boy. :)

Really enjoyed the 30 heats of speedway action tonight. Was good to see the meeting moving along at pace, even at the start when the rain was pouring. Was really pleased Buxton grabbed a point too. Some great racing action all round and another great advert for tne National League. :approve:

Just got to say well done to all involved with tonight's meetings. First meeting done in an hour and both meetings complete well before 10pm. If only all speedway was as slick as this ;)

Some good racing too :)

According to the BSPA results it was 50-43 so all three points to Sheffield/Scunthorpe.

From a Stoke perspective, darn Redcar getting called off! Richie Worrall was the difference tonight between us and them!

As for the racing, got a bit processional at the start and end (Rain then a slick track after 25+ heats!) but heat 11 of the Buxton meeting was worth the admission alone!

Good performance from the Prowlers in both meeting, with a little bit of help from Redcar! Obviously the conditions had an impact on the quality of racing but we did have the odd few races which we're spectacular!

Have to say it's a welcomed change to see the odd National league meeting at Owlerton and I for one really hope the connection between the two clubs continue on to next season :approve:

Huge well done to the Saints, thoughly dserved full match points on what was a tricky track early on,and well done to Sheff on a slick race night,

THe Worral twins were a class apart but special mention must go to Gary Irving, beat riders all night when the presure was on,thye way they kept there heads in that latter stages of the Stoke meeting when they nudged in front was very impressive

Good to see Lambert walk away from what looked an awfull crash and get back on his bike

Starting to feel very sorry for Paul Cooper, clearly not fit and low on confidence, only way is up i guess

Top of the league!!!!!!!!!!!

Would love to see a video clip of the race , a few regular sheffield supporters were saying it was the best race there for many a year.

Full credit to the riders who just got on with the job in what were trying conditions early on.

No good up and coming British speedway riders, i dont think so.
