Now if there is a late inclusion of a Szymon Wozniak and Kenni Larsen pairing i will contact a bookmaker quickly!

Both looked really good last week and will both be very valuable members of the team this season.

Shame there won't be a stream! All the best. Alan.

Honestly Tarabanko, you don't get any new fans by putting every broadcast as overpriced streams.

For 49kr i require:

High picture and audio quality, graphics both before and after each heat.

Current quality is definitely not meeting these requirements.

If you want to charge the same amount as Canal+ you'll have to deliver the same product.

I also noticed the you've upped the entrance fee with 20%, not a wise move.

You beat me to it. :t: I paid last week and thought it was a one-off. I haven't yet seen the conversion to $ on my credit card but i'm afraid i'm not paying again. Last week i watched a one camera stream (in good quality) but that was it. No graphics, no replays and the sound cut off as the tapes went up for each race. Even with a race card-thank you Ghostwalker, and even though i am a fan, i wasn't sure in some races who was in it.

I am about to watch a Danish match on a legal stream -for free

http://kanalsport.dk/

and tomorrow there is a Polish league meeting that will have multiple streams available. I love Smederna but not that much!

Sorry, but "the price a'int right"

Alan.

As your arse which is in two halfs peoples meaning are not the same. Id say that if you dont go or live in another country I would be

very glad to pay 49 sek

120 SEK is 10,48 GBP in todays currency, compare to a premier league meeting in Uk that is 16,00 GBP

and in swedish money 183,16 SEK.

So it is a good price for this VALUE of meeting.

The price in Allsvenskan at Ikaros Smederna will be 120 sek through the season, except semifinal and final.

Best regards

Mikael

Indeed Mikael. That seems a fair entrance price for what is on offer. No point anyone saying, but in Poland it is cheaper.......It isn't easy to balance thefact the fans want top riders, but don't want to pay too much for that. And the club also wants to give the best they can afford. As for the stream....well there are a fair number of fans who hardly ever go to a meeting and just watch free streams which doesn't really contribute much to the sport. At least this way they will be contributing something

It is usually the case that when you insult someone, your argument is weak. Let me just offer the following.

I live in "speedway wasteland"- the USA. I have no access whatsoever to any television coverage. The sport does not really exist in this country. Bravo to Greg and the few who keep it going.I can and do buy a package for Football (Soccer  ) and Rugby coverage. It costs me $15.00 per month. I get more than i could possibly watch. Premiership, Championship, Scottish Premiership, Italy, Spain. Premiership Rugby, Super 15 Rugby. All live and in high definition.

Last week i paid for the Smederna meeting, because i have become a fan of the club and wanted to support them. I got a single camera stream, just the track announcer, sound cut off as the tapes went up, no replays, no graphics whatsoever, no commentary (even if i can't understand it  ) no interviews. For this it worked out to $7.50 plus whatever fees the credit card company add on for "Foreign transaction). I haven't got the bill yet, but let us say $10.00. Yesterday i was able to watch a legal stream from Denmark which had all of the missing elements . Interviews etc.

I can buy a legal GP stream for $5.00 with all the production. Thanks to the streamers i have just watched a Polish league match with Gollob, Lindgren etc. Thanks to the streamers i watched the Elite league on Monday and the Swedish meeting on Tuesday. Not "legal" i know, but the technology is like the genie, "It's out of the bottle"

Now for a "Filler" pairs meeting ,with all due respect, you want me to shell out for another single camera stream.

And i, as the customer, say "No thanks"

I know there was opposition to the initial decision to stream Allsvenskan. But the attendance figures for last season showed a sharp increase all round.

Having a 17 year old "techie" son, i subscribe to their thinking that the world has REALLY changed with the internet. You can use it- as an advertising medium. Say to sponsers- we can deliver X number of viewers online, and hopefully they will see value in it. What about approaching the Eskilstuna Tourist Board to advertise on-line with you? Or you can do as you are and demand payment. Sadly this most wonderful of sports is a minority interest for most people. Television is a poor substitute for being there.( until we get "smellovision" ) If it were at all possible, i would be there every week, supporting "my" team. I have no idea what the situation is with Allsvenskan streaming this season. Is this just Smederna or will the fixtures tomorrow require payment? I honestly don't think there will be many if that is the case.

We all love the sport and i hope you can respect a diverging opinion. Regards. Alan.

I agree with you Alan. I am also willing to pay

but in that case i expect quality.

Allsvenskan streams. Last season i watched

all but one home meeting at the track.

I hope to do so this year as well.

I started going to Smederna's meetings in 2003

and i didn't miss one single home meeting.

But i just won't spend 50kr for low quality streams.

Anyway quite nice meeting so far and yes Alan

the sun IS shining still.

Very brave riding from kling in smedernas heat

vs Vargarna. A couple of good heats so far.

Currently there is a break for fence repairs
