Rob S. 1 Posted September 13, 2012 In a word "NO"....Shadders. Edinburgh have Wolbert as a guest, and as we are on 2nd (following Glasgow), Grieves will be suitably knackered, for our match. By the way, what's happened to the Rye O/S ? Don't seem to be able to access any news updates - except the Mercury site.

Most Rye fan I've spoken to can't wait for the season to end. Looks like we've seen the last of Gjedde in a Rye House jacket. I had the proper Rye website bookmarked, but now it takes me to the inferior Mercury website.

Shadders 4,135 Posted September 13, 2012 (edited) Will Gjedde not be back next season ? Personally I'd welcome him back, but would prefer to see Jason Doyle Edited September 13, 2012 by Shadders

Bandit59 1,151 Posted September 13, 2012 Doubt there will be 30 races on Friday last double header second match was declared after heat 12 maybe that would be the best result for Rye House ;;;
westhamboy66 599 Posted September 14, 2012 When you have a team full of guests and using RR as Rye have i find it difficult to keep much interest. For me Gjedde hasn't worked, what with injuries, his Wife giving birth and his Fathers illness he seems more like a guest himself. Tonking for Rye House which is sad on a track we used to do so well on.

Chris 441 Posted September 14, 2012 Would have thought Doyle would laugh in Silvers face if he offered him terms next year after releasing him last year. What a good decision that turned out to be. Must be up there in terms of wallyish decisions
