YerRopes 3,009 Posted March 21, 2013 Excellent decision re tonight's meeting and think they should postpone next weeks too...daytime temperatures of 3 degrees predicted. Let's wait until the warmer weather arrives and by then both Swindon and Poole should be well dialed in and we can then give them the thrashing that they thoroughly deserve...
noggin 1,393 Posted March 21, 2013 What a load of tripe. Even if it doesn't rain it will be bitterly cold and they'd be lucky to get 500 through the turnstiles. Why should the promotion risk a heavy financial loss to please a handful of dap-wearers? Sorry pal but you are the one talking tripe, so if there's no threat of rain, they postpone for cold Instead, make your mind up.
Steve0 5,517 Posted March 21, 2013 Well it's raining quite hard here - about 10 miles from Blunsdon so seems like the right decision

bobxski 23 Posted March 21, 2013 The forecast ive seen suggests it will stay dry till 9pm in the Swindon area. Forecast was well wrong and steady rain by 7pm! Good dicision Could have had Eddie riding for the Brits and another Swindon asset riding for the Robins - oh hang on?! ps, can anyone confirm the admission price for this challenge? Which Swindon asset would you like? Korneliussen, Stead, Doyle, Zengota?

hagonshocker 1,963 Posted March 22, 2013 Glad to see some common sense posts from SOME Swindon fans realising it was a wise decision although did wonder when Nige would appear with his annual season ticket chestnut?.......bring on the Puggers
Crump99 4,490 Posted March 23, 2013 (edited) I should think once the team declarations have been approved they will appear on the BSPA web site as per the 2012 versions, out of interest issue 1 of 2012 is dated the 23rd March 2012. Thought that they'd have the 2013 version done before the the first EL fixture as it's the 23rd today, but they've been saved by the rain. Do you think they'll put out the "2013 Sky Sports Elite League Team Declaration Issue 1" sheet before Monday's EL meeting? Skidder1 7,664 Posted March 23, 2013 Apologies, my mistake, they've got another couple of days then! Mind you the EL season preview is on Sky on Monday evening (6.30pm) so maybe all will be revealed - or not!!

Well they can't really run a preview programme if they and we don't know whether the teams have all been officially approved so expect team declarations 2013 tomorrow or Monday? I think we can take it as fact that Batch will be approved. What we won't discover is what the deal is that gets him there. My guess is that he won't be on Panthers' asset page at the start of next season.

That'll be because of the BOGOF deal at the BSPA - buy Hans and get Batch free
