Coventry 2013

Recommended Posts

NL fixtures usually take a few weeks to be released after the EL and PL due to their AGM being slightly later. I never understood why they do not include the NL in the main AGM. It is like the Football League having a meeting and having the Championship and League 1 meeting together and then League 2 have their own one.

Because the promoters cannot be in two places at once. If you're in the EL meeting, how can you also be in the NL meeting next door? it makes sense for that meeting to be a few weeks later.

You've missed the point. Why can't the NL promoters be in a room with the EL & PL promoters?

Because the EL and PL promoters are in different rooms. I believe they sort out general business and then split by league, that can't be done if you're running in 2 leagues.

Mixed time ..Brendan Johnson "blew" two brand new motors and never got out on track , drove home to Poole to swap engines then headed for the ferry to drive to Germany to practice with Kyle Newman ..dedication!!

Rich Franklin was snapping chains and that prevented him from getting in as much practice as he wanted.

Trevor Heath had carby and ignition gremlins but still manged some impressive laps.

Sarj, Olly G and JJ put in some fast laps whilst Martin Knuckey got better each time he went out on what was a heavy wet track by the end.

Roll on March 22nd and the visit of the Heathens!

Body colours looked really good and the lads all looked so smart in their coats kindly sponsored by Gary Drinkwater of City Gearboxes (Coventry) Ltd --who is sponsoring the Mercia Vikings in the MDL and all the squad members plus has sponsored all seven Storm riders !!

Dates will be released as soon as they are all agreed and bspa give the green light to release them

So reading between the lines fixtures out late may preceded a week earlier by the 2012 rulebook. 2013 rulebook out March 2014

Blew two motors before getting on track what's the chances of that more chance of wining the lottery, I think catching the ferry was the only problem.
