Recommended Posts

am afraid there are a few (two at least) who take great delight in slagging off every single thing about Berwick speedway constructive criticism is one thing but sarcastic bile is another

He`s getting on a bit now but one rider i would still like to see wearing the Berwick race jacket is Tomas Piscz, pure mental , all action , never say die.

If Carrs in then we need a top scoring fellow reserve,or an out and out top draw no1.Stead would certainly be that though I cant see him at Berwick, nor Richard Lawson for that matter.

My choice would be Ryan Fisher, but I cant see that either.

The lack of announcements would lead us to conclude that no riders have been signed.

The intelligent conclusion would be that there have been no announcements.

Oliver Allen 8.09

David Bellego 6.36

Matty Wethers 6.79

Andrew Tulley 7.19

Kevin Doolan 7.51

Paul Starke 3.52

Liam Carr 3.00

total 42.46

very solid top 5 , i dont see the reserves as a gamble either as i reckon both will get or maybe slightly improve on their starting figures.

And no commuting foreigners whose main priorities wouldn't be at Berwick.

What total and utter tripe.

Edit: actually, a very good shout, on reflection.

Matej Kus on 6.19. May fancy another stint at Shielfield. Did a couple of meetings back in 2007 before that bizzare accident at Ashfield.

Thankfully the enigma will not be back at the STMP in 2014. Yippee!

Kus may have offered his services but was turned down, with the 2014 team already in place, pure speculation of course.

Decent rider and with the right mamangement he`d make a snip on his 6+ average, somebody could make a very shrewd signing.

I like Neil's suggested team.

Very well thought-out, no hidden agenda, and a good balance.

It should please Screm et al., with the overseas meeting element.

Some of the Czech riders sound interesting, but...
