mickthemuppet 976 Posted December 3, 2013 I appear to have started a whole new thread within a thread! On YouTube there is Bert Royal v Steve Logan in a singles match. Meanwhile - let's hope there is some announcement soon regarding live league speedway on a channel, be it Sky, BT, Eurosport etc. What about Kendo Nagasaki the masked mystery man from Japan with the red eyes. "Give us a lift to manchester" said 'Ted' 1. "Sorry mate, car's full" says Billy. "that's ok, pal, we'll take the car, GET OUT!" says 'Ted' 2. "What happened next?" says my old fella. ....."We got out".
Walshy1974 24 Posted December 4, 2013 Bit off topic but still Sky.. The speedway coverage may've not always be to everyone's satisfaction, but Sky've definitely got it right with there "Myspecialday" series which started today. Get a tissue ready (it's not porn) if you have a heart.

I can't remember the exact details of what led up to it but a similar thing happened. Andre in his youth would not be someone you would want to anger lol
Skidder1 7,658 Posted December 4, 2013 (edited) So a 5-year TV-only deal with Sky again - and the chance to attract a new 'Main' sponsor for the League(s)!! That should at least assist clubs and riders in attracting their own corporate sponsors! Edited December 4, 2013 by Skidder1

Walshy1974 24 Posted December 4, 2013 Who were the last firm / brand to put their name to speedway prior to Sky Sports? Gawd knows, but the elite league could be onto a nice money spinner if they play this right. Advertising on a big scale to potentially millions.

StormMarketing 22 Posted December 4, 2013 There are a few companies putting money "out there" at the moment... You have either got to look at a company that is cash-rich such as QuickQuid or Wonga or alternatively you would have to look at a more industry-lead back in the shape of maybe a tool company like Milwakee or Teng Tools etc. I am sure there are lots of options if the brand exposure on offer was right to one of these corporates
