Stoke V Kent Kings, Now 27/10

Recommended Posts

To be fair, the season was nearly over at the beginning of September which we complained about, they rearranged one for later - which pleased us, but then bad weather hit every rearrangement.

Dont think its going to happen now,in a way it was a bit of a nothing meeting, in so much as nothing resting on it,but more lost earnings for the riders ,not really good enough from the promotion, not even taking the recent weather in to account other meetings have been got on.. And the lack of information from clubs involved is also bad..is it any wonder fans are becoming disalusioned with the sport ...

Well we have read that the Kent Kings website will not be operational again until next season. So that's a great service for their supporters who wonder (a) about a rearranged match at Stoke and (B) what's happened to Connor Coles?

Don't despair just yet. Wednesday is probably the last available day to make arrangements for a match this Sunday.

A comment from ' Proud Potter ' would not go amiss, over to you Malcolm ?

Obviously we'll get nothing from Kent Kings - their website does not even mention the recent postponement - their last entry is a preview of that match! And that manages to avoid the mounting queries in regard to Connor Coles surprise departure from the line-up.

Gustix,

The season finishes tomorrow (Thursday October 31st)

All the best

Rob

I have previously mentioned the fact that the season finishes at the end of October but have queried if an extension would be allowed to get the Stoke v Kent Kings fixture completed.

No responses from anywhere, hence the continuing barrage of questions in regard to the match POSSIBLY taking place on Sunday November 3.

It just needed a comment from either management to confirm NO NEW DATE. This does not indicate especially good PR work by either club. "Silence is golden" for both Kings and Stoke by the look of things.

Thank for highlighting the end of season date - with no extensions. Curtain down on the 2013 season for Kent Kings.

Just to clarify the website and PR man at the Kent Kings has tried to get comments from the Kings promotion for 2 weeks.

The only communication came from Len Silver last week to say not to expect any news until the Spring.

He has stated no track work will take place until then now as well.

Therefore, it's not the website that's not operational until the Spring, it's just the promotion have said not to expect any updates until the Spring. I am sure if he gets any news he will update the website ASAP.

I'm afraid unlike last winter, it looks like it's going to a very quiet winter for Kings fans but that's the way the club is run now.
