sandman 0 Posted September 15, 2004 Remember two of the worst riders ever seen at Blunsdon: BO BO VALENTINE SUMNER McKNIGHT <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i think McKnight was better than he showed. saw him at swindon, and seemed to be sorting himself out scoring 8 points at hackney i think, but averages and work permit issues forced him to leave. i think he was actually a good rider, thrown in at the deep end too quickly..bit unfair to label him as one of two worst riders ever seen at swindon..points wise, maybe, potential? the man had potential.. frigbo 523 Posted September 15, 2004 Then there were Frank Richt and Leonard Raba, now these two were totally crap!can you find any plus points for this duo?! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No Hitchy..you can't say that about the mighty Leonard!! The man was an absolute legend...he even rode in a World Team Cup Final. The mere fact he didn't score a solitary point for Swindon is surely immaterial He did have an appalling 'tache though, i'll give you that As for Frank Richt...... spin king 1,923 Posted September 24, 2004 Seem to remember there was an American rider called Sonny Nutter. Also there was a guy mentioned earlier Jon Jon White, don't know about a strange name but the guy himself was a bit strange. I remember reading an interview in the Speedway Star with him, talk about wanting to live in caves, wonder what happened to him.
