Kent Kings 2014

Recommended Posts

Must admit Lambert as captain was a bit left wing, however, David is vice captain and will no doubt offer his opinions when he feels like it. As vice captain he will assume the position of captain when Lambert is not available.

As for riding order would have thought:

1. Lambert

2. Chessell

3. Mason

4. Compton

5. Morley

6. Freemantle

7. Blake

Could see it may differ for away meetings.

Good to see that Adam Kirby has a place in the U21 semi at Plymouth.

The meeting on 15th March will be a useful run-out for Ben prior to his Under 21 semi-final a week later. A good chance to weigh up the track, sort gearing etc. He must stand a good chance of progressing if there are no unforseen problems. Good luck Ben.

Freemantle is in the semi as well.

Freemantle is in the semi as well.

Sorry Islander15, overlooked that fact. Was also going to mention Adam Kirby (ex Kings rider). On the balance of probability (of the Kings riders) Ben would stand the greater chance of progressing, but everyone starts equal so good luck to them all.

So it is the first away win. What a fantastic start to the season.

Lambert retains the Bronze Helmet. Must be a great boost to the team with a night like tonights. Hope Brandon will not be too sore after his off.

Any chance of knowing the scoreline? Useful when talking about wins/draws/defeats as the case may be? :icon_smile_clown:

The best way to find the result and scorers is the Updates page for that match. Only fair as the excellent folk involved on thast site do all the hard work.

Great start for the Kings.Lambert did well and so did Morley/Compton.Nice to see young Harris win his first ever National League ride.Hope Freemantle is OK after his terrible sounding crash.Ok Devon might not be the strongest team In the League but it is never easy to win AWAY in Speedway.

If this had been the first meeting last season, the Kings would have lost.Much better balanced team this year.IMHO. :t:
