Elite League Draft Riders

If I delayed a meeting at work with clients (customers to the rest of us) because I was still in another meeting I'd be in deep rubbish but the BSPA just like treating the fans and press like crap so why expect any different? They told us 3pm and it should have been 3pm. You just can't image the FA delaying the FA Cup draw for 45 minutes because the top brass were in a meeting!

I see you are looking in on it though Shawn - is that to criticise it or because it is actually quite interesting and is going to add a bit of spice to next season?

How do Kings Lynn already pick their 2nd one?

Was thinking the same. Seemed to contradict the various press releases.

Sure it's because he's an asset, but still...

Havelock drafted by Coventry. Loram to Kings Lynn!

I think you'll find Havelock was a protected asset as opposed to to a draft pick.

How do Kings Lynn already pick their 2nd one?

Looks like the rules were updated to allow another asset to be selected. Oh dear !!!

It's a good idea. Just usual BSPA poorly executed.

Anyway, Coventry have IMO got the best 1 choice and a bloody good second rider.

Totally disagree. It was executed very well.

If they'd not bothered to inform anyone that things were running behind schedule, then yes, a moan is valid. They didn't.

Hats off to the BSPA today.

Not convinced there wasn't wheeling and dealing going on here. Not sure we would have seen these picks following the rules as published (and I don't just mean the Rose one).
