Why should PL sort the s##t the EL has got themselves in to??

 

The PL should be helping to sort the s##t that the whole sport has got itself into. The leagues can't operate in isolation but they constantly seem determined to try to.

An exciting young up & coming superstar (Robert Lambert) turns round and says I'm not riding for you for £40 per point. I fully expect any British team to offer him more to keep him wouldn't you???

These rider ride for £10 a point in the NL and get 4 heats. In the EL they're going to get 2 NL heats and a Pl standard heat. So they should be happy to ride for twice the money for half the heats. Anything over £20 a point means they'll earn more than if they ride NL!

 

Also, makes me laugh, we're doing this to fast track youth but in the PL Glasgow have just signed a Dane to start in reserve LOL.

No, he is contacted and offered the opportunity, the club doesn't know who it's going to get, the odds are that Lambert will go to Kings Lynn, seeing as he signed for them before the end of last season.

You are seriously mistaken to think all the top NL riders are on £10 a point. Especially the ones most likely to be given the opportunity for EL. I know of 2 being paid £45 + expenses.

 

This £10 a point is a minimum wage in the NL not the maximum

WHY ? ....... Maybe because they chaarge virtually the same for a nghts racing as most EL tracks but pay considerablt less out on wages and would rather pay a total novice from Hugary, Argentina or Southern Peru than a 17 year old that lives a short bus route away from the track.

 

 

The National League is there to help bring British riders into the sport and they should be encouraged to move up the ladder as they progress and not go from Kindergarten to University.

 

 

 

 

Perhaps you coukd list all the British riders who have ridden for Wolves this century - it shouldnt take long!
