SCB 0 Posted May 13, 2014 For any Eagles supporter out there ...... is there any increase in the average attendance when Coventry are in town ???I don't know what other clubs take but Coventry often have a coach and many cars. I'd be amazed if Coventry are not one of the best supporter teams at Eastbourne.

Aces51 2,778 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Coventry have the best away support in the league Not at Belle Vue. No away team brings large numbers these days, not too surprising for a Monday race night. Of recent years probably Birmingham have brought the most. Edited May 13, 2014 by Aces51
Gemini 4,894 Posted May 13, 2014 Probably Leicester have taken over the top spot now as they are new to the league and lots of different tracks to visit.
mdmc82 2,878 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) Howarth missing too! Why? Workington had no fixtures Edited May 13, 2014 by mdmc82

Coventry certainly one of the top 3 supported clubs that visit Eastbourne and in the past they have come by coach although I dont think they did last season. Lakeside and Poole being the other well supported clubs at Arlington. Probably because we mostly race Saturday nights.

Anyone that supported Coventry away deserved a medal last season. It was bad enough watching them at Brandon.

Eagle727 21 Posted May 15, 2014 Funnily enough there's very little mention of this meeting on the official Eastbourne website... Anyone got any idea of what the "Coventry" line-up might be...?
cityrebel 2,960 Posted May 15, 2014 It's an old promoters trick to keep the line ups a secret, but in these days of the internet it's hard to keep anything under wraps!
speedybee 295 Posted May 15, 2014 I see Trevor Geer is gloating in Speedway Star that Eagles got Bridger on board before Coventry could book him as a guest for Harris.. he has to do something to build interest in this fixture I guess
