Somerset V Rye 6.6.14

Rebels showing that the Witches cant be complacent in the 2nd leg of the KOC next week.

Take away the tactical and the Rebels would have won by 42, the perfect answer to last nights critics. next week could be a cracker.

I think the first 5 heats could be vital. If its something like 22-8 then its game on. Witches need to get a solid start to calm any nerves. Cant wait - bring it on!

That's better, Garrys words of wisdom must have struck a chord after last nights dismal showing... :t:

To be fair, probably a bit of both - even Kennett who started like a train in his first two, got completely stuffed by Allen and then completely outwitted in his next two by Robson and Brady.

Rye were woeful - Bunyan, Bowen and Boxall should hang their heads in shame after that. Bunyan finally came to the party in heat 14 but somewhat too late. Other than that he was so poor. Tresarrieu comes away with some credit as at least he fought hard and put on a show, but still points make prizes.

There is no way Ipswich will be this poor next week but tonight, Brady, Olly and Pontus a complete different class to anybody else.
