EIS002 159 Posted June 9, 2014 If they've had the thunder storms in Manchester as we've had them in Sheffield today I would be surprised if there is a meeting at all. Good luck Aces and Hammers and a safe meeting for all
lionheart 86 Posted June 9, 2014 Assuming that Scott comes out in Ht 15 that means that he could have 6 rides. Could be a good pay night for him (With a bit of luck)
Falcon Hammer 576 Posted June 9, 2014 Sun is scorching, definitely all 15 heats tonight. Hoping for a win tonight, c'mon you Hammers
Vincent Vega 135 Posted June 9, 2014 Both teams have 2 riders missing it aint our fault the Aces can only have R/R for Cook they should have persuaded him to ride EL full time rather than double up. Â If Belle Vue are as crap as they were Friday night they will lose anyway. Stop moaning about yer team and get on with the match.
The Voice Of Reason 2,124 Posted June 9, 2014 TORRO TORNADO WATCH 2014/003  A TORNADO WATCH has been issued at 1045GMT on Monday 9th June 2014  Valid from/until: 1045GMT - 2100GMT on Monday 9th June 2014, for the following regions of the United Kingdom & Eire:  Parts of (see map)  NE England  Lincs  Midlands  E Anglia  THREATS  Tornadoes; hail to 30-40mm diameter; wind gusts to 60mph; CG lightning  SYNOPSIS  Shortwave trough moving NNE across the area has promoted elevated thunderstorms this morning across W Midland, ref. TCD002 below. Surface observations of temperature and dewpoint close to the cluster, especially the SE side of it (currently over N Midlands) suggest that surface-based activity is possible. Backed low-level flow ahead of this cluster suggests low-level rotation is possible, and low LCLs suggest a risk of tornadoes. Deep layer shear is sufficient for cell organisation and possible supercells, with the risk of large hail/damaging winds. The highest risk is with this cluster, from ~Derbyshire NNE through W and S Yorks to N Yorks, over the next few hours. Other storms, perhaps severe, may form to the SE of this cluster, also with the risk of large hail/tornadoes, although the risk lowers with SE'wards extent, due to 1) veering low-level flow as frontal system moves NE, and 2) cirrus shield from multiple MCSs over the near continent..  http://www.torro.org...te/forecast.php And, added to all the high tech stuff, someone at Kirky Lane might always forget to turn the hosepipe off. BWitcher 12,453 Posted June 9, 2014 Interesting to see Zagar deliberately break the tapes there... didn't work out though, was relying on Palm Toft gating and getting in the way of the Lakeside duo.
Vincent Vega 135 Posted June 9, 2014 Zagar must have had a bet on us at 13/10!!
SCB 0 Posted June 9, 2014 If BV were doing that to stop Watt off gate 4 then the wrong BV rider touched the tapes!
