surely,,, everyone should be treated the same, sportperson, bin man, kebab shop owner, etc.etc.

unless you pay extra for it ;-)

I do agree that there are 'cowboys' in every profession, but if you want the best, you've gotta pay for it,,, I thought it was a little unfair that you blamed the NHS for ruining his career,,, that's just my opinion, of course :-(

Not sure about that like. ;)

what makes him any different from the many ' normal' folk with the same injury??... He's a speedway rider and had another job I believe..is that anymore important than you Or me, peter next door, Micky in Afghanistan, billy the vet??Surely not??

I see at first hand the quality of care they provide and the expertise and knowledge they have, no matter who or what you are.

To draw a comparison, a lot of my clients end up in a coma as a result of various things, my clients are treat the same as what Michael schu, Ricky ashworth, the queen, Elvis or whoever would be treat, the only difference would maybe be the surroundings but the injury treatment, advice and rehab wouldn't be different I promise you. :)

Okay, hands up, my suggestion that Jason King was worked on by 'cowboys' was clearly ill conceived. My initial point should have been more precisely made. What I was rather ham-fistedly saying was IMO. Jason's injuries both seemed to take far longer to heal than those of big stars of the sport. Clearly the intimation is that they have 'gone private' and brought in a 'specialist' being paid handsomely for their services. In an over-worked NHS quantity vs quality is I am afraid the belief among many people. I would not ask you to comment on a service colleague's work, but sorry as an non-medico I truly believe that JK would have been better off if he had been successfully d/u in the EL and being sent to someone more renowned.
